Thi past two weeks have been rough, medically, and I’ve been home from work and unable to do just about anything, but back to work tomorrow, and I wanted to make sure I did my monthly update of my random prompt generator!
A short time ago I programmed a random prompt generator in excel and I have been updating, adding, and refining ever since. Access is through a QR code in my THIS ZINE FIGHTS ARTIST’S BLOCK zine and the whole thing is updated monthly. Today, it spit me out “wolf head”, “herb” with a tattoo vibe in a pop art style using mustard and dark olive hex colors….and that’s how we got from there to here! ❤️

I am really excited about my new zine: Faux Paws, the official #catbeanzine!
It’s 4.8x5.3”, 12 pages, fully illustrated - faux food products inspired by cat toe beans.
There’s extra smol frijolitos, spicy purritos, anchovies and beans, Mac and beans, and even fancy black licorice!

I created this Burnished Plastics piece a couple weeks ago as a 21st birthday gift for a family friend. I'm a sucker for cute plastic bug specimens.
This pieces is 5 separate shrink plastic pieces which are attached to a 6"x5" plaque. Each wing rests on a teeny tiny screw so that the wings appear raised when viewed from the right angle. <3

My monthly update of the 'THIS ZINE FIGHTS ARTIST'S BLOCK' zine is now live! You can see what it looks like....and maybe you can draw a moth man vending machine with a spooky vibe using Old Burgundy and Banana Mania!
I added 215 subjects and 75 art styles today - always generated, programmed, and edited by hand, never AI.
