     “ wait. ”  kai interrupted the other after taking in the new smell. it only took him a few seconds to remember the cake that he had put in the oven and to realize that it was probably burnt by then.  “ no, no, no. ”  a heavy sigh escaped his lips as he ran to the kitchen, quickly turning off the oven and taking the burnt cake.  “ this is why i don’t cook! i told you this was a bad idea. ”  to be fair, kai had told the other many variants of that before, so trusting him when he said that something wasn’t a good idea was probably useless.  “ now we’re going to starve. this is just great. ”

          hello , nice to meet all of you ! i’m cyan , she / they & gmt aka hell and this is my baby KAI , JNR’S VOCALIST ! if you’d like to plot , feel free to like this or hit me up . i’m probably gonna fall asleep any minute now but yeah KJFNDSAK . his stats are here . 

* {   chittaphon leechaiyapornkul (ten) + demiboy + he/they   } — i see dispatch have found srisuk kai’s profile… they’re the twenty-two year old vocalist of jnr, apparently, but i don’t know, they seem too aloof and facetious to be an idol. then again, according to fans they’re also incisive and altruistic, which could work in their favour. their aesthetic really seems to match bbibbi by iu and reminds me of stargazing, scattered polaroids, wrinkled pieces of paper and strumming a guitar late at night, and they’re definitely going for a mysterious but lowkey soft image. according to an anonymous source, the company would rate their skills as follows: 10 dance, 10 vocal, 08 rap, 08 visual, 07 charm. dispatch also said that the rumour that their attitude is beginning to cause problems in the group is true, but when they’re talking, who knows what’s the truth?

kai was born in thailand, having been the product of a one night stand. when he was three years old, his grandmother took him in, since his mother wasn’t able to handle the responsibility. all of the other kids he hung out with lived with their parents, and while kai loved his grandmother, it made him feel like something was missing. why wouldn’t his own parents want to raise him? or even contact him? surely, the problem had to be in the boy and not in them. because of this, his self-esteem was always far from being the best (more like the opposite, actually).

he found an escape in music. kai loved to listen to music and dance. he also began writing some lyrics, but never found them good enough so they would all end up in the trash sooner or later. still, as time went by, he began to notice just how much he loved it. since he was always singing, his grandmother ended up realizing he had a lot of talent and suggested he tried to audition to become an idol.

kai ended up following his grandmother’s advice, not because he wanted to become famous, but because he hoped it would inspire other people to do what they loved if he ended up being picked. kyk was one of the known companies in thailand and its refurbishment made it seemed like the best choice. if he was being totally honest, he didn’t expect to become a trainee nor to be part of one of the groups debuting in 2019 and he still wonders if it’s all a dream.

all of the insecurities in him that haven’t disappeared and likely won’t disappear any time soon are what motivate kai to work harder and to be the best. it’s not only about making his grandmother proud (the smile on her face before he left to korea showed him just how proud she already is) and it’s not about being better than others, it’s about making himself proud. there’s still a long way to go but he’s ready to do whatever it takes.

the mysterious image he gives off is because he’s the type to not let people in at first and be that quiet guy in the corner before getting to know people. but once he does, he becomes a lot more talkative and pretty fun to hang out with, making a lot of jokes (and most of them being bad). plus, he's not exactly rude but sometimes may come off as that due to not thinking twice before speaking.
