the post about fanfic writers updating despite wild life circumstances is funny and great, but to all the slow writers, the writers who can’t focus when life is happening a lot, or who simply like taking time off from writing: you’re doing amazing, fandom is not an obligation, and there are many people who prefer short fics, or who read slowly and are in no rush for updates.

The loss of Anthem today should teach Destiny 2 players the value of what Bungie does for us. They’ve managed to keep this world, this game, this universe afloat for 7 years while presenting new content, new guns, new game modes while being barraged by toxic players left and right.
Now imagine Bungie does what BioWare did. They say “well, this can’t be fixed. Might as well move on.” And slowly, Destiny fades into obscurity. And a MASSIVE player base has to find a new game to occupy their time. And Destiny isn’t like other games. We are SPOILED, to say the least, to have a PvE FPS MMORPG with a constant storyline, new activities every three months, not one but TWO PvP arenas (as awkward as the metas can get), high tier PvE content like raids and grandmaster nightfalls, a constantly changing and shifting world, and social spaces like the Tower.
Destiny 2 players are spoiled and the general community is ungrateful for all of the good shit they do for us.
Give the Bungie Devs a goddamn break. No, they are not perfect, but they are putting their heart and soul into this game. They want to bring you a lot of new stuff, but it’s exhausting to keep up with a constant barrage of hostility directed towards them from a hostile community.
I will be blocking hostile comments and responses to this post, so just don’t even think about it.

Saladin: *says anything*
Crow: shut up, salad man
Saladin: where did you learn to be so rude?
Crow: Osiris taught me everything I know
Osiris: it's true, salad man.

Why are people instantly freaking out over Amanda and Crow. They just hang out. A man and a woman can hang out without it being a ship. Bungie isn't implying anything inherently by giving Crow a friend who happens to be a woman.
I've seen a few posts by now about this and I'm just baffled. They are literally just communicating like two human beings who are friends. And yes, men and women can go out as friends also. Send tweet.
