#very interesting!#these animals scare me more than most#i have a real chance of stumbling onto one of them if i go out hiking anywhere wild#now in reality i’ve seen a lot of them and it was never an issue#you just don't get too close and don't get in the water and you'll be just fine#but there's always a risk with any wild animal#it could be sick or starving or it could be used to being fed by people#so i try not to stay in an area with gators for very long but they are cool to see too

i think one of the best parts about being a teenager in the early to mid 2010s was that cigarettes were definitely not cool anymore and vapes hadn’t popularized yet so my lungs made it out of my peak impressionable years relatively unscathed
#idk where y'all were that smoking wasn't cool#i didn't start until i was 20 but i was around it as a teen and always thought it was cool#maybe because i watched a lot of older shows and movies?#were other teens not doing that?#i know they stopped showing people smoke as much in modern media#or like made it look bad/lame when it did happen#but i thought most of us were like 'yeah sure dad 🙄' when shows got preachy about cigarettes#i thought it looked hot#i still do actually but the smell and health problems aren't worth it obviously
