As you might know, chapters 185 and 186 have already been published, but the raws are only available up to chapter 184. As to what now…

There are scans floating around, but those are Chinese scanlations. It should be obvious, but being able to read and understand Japanese doesn’t automatically mean you know Chinese or vice-versa. Plus, translating a translation is, uhh… not something I recommend if you want for your translation to be reliable.

Anyway, since we’re already paying for Daiya no Ace 2 raws weekly, we’ve no budget to buy Chihayafuru ones on top of that, and with no raws, our only choice is to wait for when volume 36, containing chapters 184-188, will be released (it’s scheduled for November 13). So this is our provisional course of action in regards to Chihayafuru.

Now, if you don’t like the wait and feel you wouldn’t mind helping in the form of spending some money on the raws, you can – by buying the issues with Chihayafuru in any web shop that provides eboook issues of magazines (for example, honto1, honto2, ebj1, ebj2, bkwalker1, bkwalker2) and making screenshots of the chapters. Of course, it’s not at all like you have to. In our belief, scanlating shouldn’t involve money by definition, and we’re not expecting anything. After all, waiting killed no one, we’ve all done this before, and we can do it again no problem, so there’s no reason to feel bad.

UPD: Oh, tbh, I didn’t expect we’d get so many fans willing to spend money on the raws. I guess Chihayafuru is loved^^ So here’s what I suggest: since the situation with no public raws showing up is likely to continue, how about the fans willing to help by buying Be Love issues take turns doing so, so that several people don’t end up spending their money on the same issue?
