He has a rather dynamic personality. And while he’d prefer someone a little bit more like an open book, he certainly understands if they’re like that at first. Not everybody can be comfortable with everyone around them immediately, after all. But he’s kind enough to make sure they’re in on whatever is going on currently, even if they seem kind of wary of him at first. This is where he discovers that hey—  maybe they’re not so cold after all? 

So he begins to include them more in conversations— he starts talking and joking with them more, and as he discovers more and more of their bubbly personality beneath all that ice, he feels himself falling for them. Mista is a romantic guy— everyone knows he’s into those cheesy romcoms and love songs, but when he falls, he falls hard. 

He loves the fact that they have a different personality underneath a somewhat simple one. It’s all the little things that make them so wonderfully them! Mista in general is just a big sap—

Narancia at first, would be somewhat distant from them. Someone cold and cutting would just remind him of Fugo— (but Fugo’s different, since they’ve known each other for a while and he does like pissing the blond off..) so he kind of distances himself from them. 

But when he notices them stifling a laugh at his hijinks and general silliness, he’s in for a shock. This pushes him forward to want to start discovering more about their dynamic personality, and so he does. He begins joking a lot more with them, often finding himself doing silly things to see them smile fondly. He probably doesn’t realize that he’s falling for them already, and it’s Fugo who breaks it to him.

He dismisses Fugo somewhat angrily at first. He’d tell him not to tease him, all “so what if I like them?” style. After Fugo stomps off, he knows, in the back of his mind, that it’s probably true. Bruno tells him this again and he actually believes it this time. He grows to love their personality for being so dynamic and interesting over time!
