some of my Experimenting with some of my older style and influences from many, many years ago I mostly kept to myself bc it's an acquired taste and people of the time didnt like it. Well, I'm having fun and want to keep the Weirdness alive.

I feel like I need to draw my guys using more influence from some of my favorite games / game devs: Klonoa Works (defunct, but the name should tell you everything) and Treasure / Working Designs

I just really love those like really 'out-there' and very Japanese designs so much. The Klonoa games, Ristar, Dynamite Headdy, Silhouette Mirage etc etc really shaped a lot of designs when I first began making art on a computer and uploading it to the internet as a teenager. I really want to touch on those sort of funky stylings again... I might go out of my way to compile as much of those games' art as possible and study them closely.

I already have some ideas brewing- it's not going to replace how I normally draw my guys, but it'll be fun for me and ever since 2023 I've been steadily pushing myself out of my comfort zone and trying to push more effort in... it's not been easy this year due to my health being a bit of a rollercoaster which means time spent on art gets slashed when I need to keep laying down to deal with pain (paracetamol won't really help my condition)

I'd love to see if you guys have favorite games or games you grew up with if you draw them in that style, or an approximation of the style in your own take too :)

I've only just discovered your blog and I love Sherman so much

If he ever got the chance to visit earth (or his solar system's equivalent) for vacation, who would he bring, where would they go, and what would they do?

He'd bring his bossman (and creator) Jaro, as always (they're attached at the hip practically)

We'll pretend he goes to Earth in this case because his first vacation choice was Chernobyl, which Jaro forbid. So Sherman went with his second choice, which was a roadtrip all over America to every single listed Superfund site... which mysteriously, these toxic places somehow wound up mysteriously much cleaner and less hazardous after Sherman's visit....................

I feel kind of sick and the depression is starting to kick in, if you want to send me an ask about any OCs or suggest ideas for me to draw them doing it'd help take my mind off of irl stuff and i'd appreciate it

Since my last upload, I was thinking about what sort of guys live in Winterland and thought up a female st. bernard-type Hellhound named Bernadette! She carries a big barrell of medicinal rum brewed in the volcanic regions known to rapidly warm up and defrost those who have been lost in the snow for too long. She is also strong enough to move boulders/rocks and clear snow drifts with ease, and has medical/nursing training. Her job is search and rescue/mountain rescue and she patrols with a team of other veteran Winterlanders. She is also in her late 30s and is proud foster mother to Annie (who lives in Demona along with several other characters, with Annie herself living with Bernadette’s partner) and possibly also fostering Harley (see: jackalope in last upload)

the one day I was finally able to sit upright and not be in pain and i chose to draw Jibril being the absolute worst angel known to all mankind

there is literally nothing more flattering and validating and encouraging as an artist than seeing people tag your art 'gender' / 'gender goals' etc
