This is my first time I'm going to go into the harder time about my experience as a STEM Student. They asked if it is hard to being a STEM Student, and I always replied "Not that bad because all of the strands are difficult, there is no easy to be a student." However, they know STEM Students as "weird" and "nerds" but some of them are not. Before I experienced and heard some harsh comments like "STEM ka pero hindi mo alam sagutan 'to?" but they didn't know that it's difficult to be STEM Students, they think that all of us are smart like the scientist/mathematician. That's a little harsh and unfair because they didn't know what we're doing to do our best as a student.
We are all different because, some of STEM student chose this Strand because of their parents, but on the other half it is their passion and some of students haven't an idea to choose what's the best strand for them. Just like what I said, I'm not that good or smart like the other student but I survived my 1 year aa a STEM and until I become a grade 12 STEM Student, and I said to myself "Kaya ko din pala 'to, napanghihinaan lang ako ng loob."
