it's kind of hilarious how in the taki/golden cruise event there was this big segment for kuzunoha meanwhile the game actively despises acknowledging seimei's backstory

#IIRC baby seimei was like that to avoid spoilers?? i think they did the same w baby yao #but i am NAWT caught up on yaos lore so do not quote me on that #but SOOO so heavily on this it actively drives me insane that we wont see turquoise seimei again #bc was seimei not w the minamotos while that shit w kagura was happening . . !!! maybe not directly involved bt def pre split #i fear its another zen studio hates the og studios ass situation and theyre just gonna try to write it out #for example. like how they completely did away with kuro seimei being why momiji ended up the way she did.#<- SMTH THAT STILL ACTIVELY PISSES ME OFF #but also re takis event there was supposed to be More re kuzunoha but they fucked up tamatori so bad they sniped her #like. tamatori was going to be auctioning kuzunohas tail type shit. with seimei there.#OK ANYWAYS

i feel like onmyoji fell off when it started going insane with the story's powercreep, specifically the whole ungaikyo gets shattered and orochi becomes more evil plotline. for all the fun and interesting things that happened, it ultimately turned the story into a generic avengers assemble plot that went on for way too long.

#WAIT OP YOURE SO BASED #YOURE SOOO SO BASED #they also completely abandoned orochi being a VICTIM of tmh & just turned him into a comical villain #AND have been trying to bury the fact that enmusubi killed gods in tmh on her way out???#dont even get me started on sp onikiri. or sp ibarakis bg revamp. or. or. or #but iirc lotus arc/post demon banquet is when the new writers took over #& the new writers hated basically all of the old ssrs. lmfao #god its so fucking much i dont mean to come onto a random post but its rare i spot someone in the wild w similar takes LOL
