Needed to draw baby nocturne for my turn of the century au. I cannot find any images of Talia as less than 10 years old online and that is a shame. So here you go! Kitten girl! And yes, neither of them are surprised she was climbing on her crib. She’s the daughter of nightcrawler. They knew this was going to happen. There are dozens of pillows surrounding her crib. Just in case.

Side note, they do joke about wanda having given birth to a “kitten” cause talia is so fuzzy.

Also, it’s a pet peeve of mine that when Kurt has facial hair, they make it super dark when he already has hair on his face that is the same color as the rest of his hair all over his body, so instead when he has facial hair I’m just making his face more fluffy and maybe coloring the tips a little bit darker

Honestly who could understand the Catholic, bisexual, demon-looking boy better than a jewish-romani witch with a dark-side? Genuinely. Both are incredibly Gothic in two different ways. It gives morticia and Gomez Addams vibes. Its perfect. *Chefs kiss*

since Kurt is with Wanda and Evan is with Pietro in the Turn of the Century AU, I keep picturing them joking each other that they have the best partner . Of course when Remy hears this he immediately sets up his homemade movie about how awesome Rogue is. Cue Wanda, Pietro, and Rogue being embarrassed yet pleased.

Sorry this took a while. But yessssss i love this idea. Except pietro is a slut for attention no way he’s embarrassed about being bragged about.

NightcrawlerWeek Day 6 Romance/Team Leader

Ever since Wolverine and the Xmen. Ive been a fan of these two.

TJ Wagner 2.0!

TJ Wagner, the daughter of Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch. I am writing an AU fic in which TJ (AKA Nocturne) has shapeshifting powers as well (like her Granny Raven). That’s not canon, but it makes sense to me. TJ’s powers - in my AU - are based on sound and echolocation, so she usually takes the form of a little bat. :) From top clockwise: adolescent TJ is a bit of a tomboy who is grossed out by any mushy stuff. She also hates shoes; do NOT ask her to wear them! Her parents separated when she was very small, so she divides her time between Kurt and the X-Men and Wanda and Genosha. Wanda is grooming - or trying to groom - her precocious daughter, literally and figuratively, to be a proper little princess. TJ is having none of it.  (center) TJ and Blink (Clarice) are BFF’s. Two gals with brightly colored skin and teleportation powers? Yup, besties! TJ with her two half-brothers Billy and Tommy. Tommy shares his sister’s love for pranks and jokes while Billy is serious-minded and quieter than his siblings, but he is TJ’s ride-or-die. TJ lives primarily with her Papa whom she absolutely adores. She looks a bit like Mabel from Gravity Falls and that is very intentional.  Hope ya enjoy! Characters belong to Marvel. Art is all mine.

more reasons why nightcrawler and scarlet witch are my frustrated couple.

After meeting Nocturne, there were several little mentions by Nightcrawler afterward seemingly randomly about Wanda sort of setting up that he was thinking about her after meeting Nocturne, but they never went anywhere. Literally just him being distracted once or twice thinking about her. At the time it came out there was mention by one of the creators involved in the comic that Nightcrawler had been wanted for Hank Pym's Mighty Avengers team (ca.2009), which included the Scarlett Witch, but was denied because it conflicted with plans the X-Office had for him. So there may have been greater plans percolating for them which never came to pass.

So yes... my thing with Marvel is personal, can they still make a couple?

They will probably only do it in alternate universes or that some writer wants (although obviously they would have to figure out how to develop that whole relationship so that it doesn't seem forced or strange)

I am doing research for a fic I am writing and it is loosely based around the 2012 X-Men Forever series which I have always found both really interesting and really aggravating. It have a lot of good Kurt & Rogue sibling bonding, furless Kurt (oh no), and this singular Kurt x Wanda moment where they are fighting after the Avengers try to bring the X-Men into custody because the Government "says so" where she doesn't know who he is until she recognizes the sound of his voice.

There are literally only a handful of on-page comic interactions between Kurt & Wanda, and it's tragic that in this one he doesn't even look like himself, but I love the way her demeanor immediately changes when she realizes this is Kurt, and they both call each other friends. It might not be significant to everyone but it's significant to me. There is just such a clear softening of her towards him after realizing that she knows him and who he is that I think is really sweet, despite the fact that she was going to bring him in anyways.

It's also really fun that he gets to use her powers, and in the second panel above he's still holding her after she faints from Kurt using Rogue's powers! He definitely made sure she was somewhere safe instead of leaving her lying unconscious on the ground.

I think it's also worth noting that this series was published/written at about the same time as the Wolverine and The X-Men cartoon series, in which one of the main romances was between Kurt & Wanda...it just makes me wonder if this is a sliver of that?? It is really a shame that Wolverine and The X-Men didn't continue because if the cartoon's Kurt/Wanda relationship gained popularity we possibly could have seen more of it in comics.

Notes: I was meant to make a KurtxWanda moodboard for nightcrawler week but I ran out of time. I kept these images in my drafts and they’re neither edited or organized but I like how they look together so, I’m posting them in the blog.
