warnings -> soulmate au that’s about it
from the very moment you met him, you knew he was different. from the way he looked at you to the way his smile grew when he met your eye, he was the one for you.
it’s not as if you’ve naively thought other people were “the one” simply because they treated you well, but this felt different in a way that can’t be easily described. he had always been there, protecting you from the shadows. his love for you is protective in nature, but not obsessively so. he simply wants to keep you safe.
after all that time being alone, you fell into his life and truly were the blessing he had wished upon a false star for, for so long. every time the same events occurred, it only strengthened your bond. maybe you could find a way out of this hell together.
a pain hidden deep within his soul is the only thing he keeps from you. pain that he knows what will happen if he shows that he’s happy with you. sometimes he just can’t help but smile and blush when you’re around because he truly believes you’re his soulmate, if such a thing exists. and this man? his name is sans undertale.
