The little blonde seemed quite comfortable with waiting. She knew her dad was pretty scatterbrained, and sometimes forgot addresses.. But he made an effort and worked hard to make her happy. She knew he wasn’t a huge fan of dance, but she loved it, and thus, he attended all her recitals and shows…

“He just texted me, he’s on his way!”

Kimika smiled, giggling at he girls comment. “well lets hope he’ll be on time for the  performance in the next few weeks” she teased. Hana was talented, Kimika could tell she really enjoyed it.

“boy is gonna be hard deciding the roles tonight. a lot of your girls did so well” she comments. the play they were doing was  about a fairy princess battling an evil sorceress queen

“Heh, he wouldn’t miss it! I’ll make sure he doesn’t.” Hana assured her teacher. Peering down the street, she smiled. “there he is!”

She rushed over to her father, who let out a grunt as she leapt up into his arms.

“OOF. Hey sweetheart!” Kamoshida gladly picked up his child and swung her around. “sorry Im’ late, i got times wrong again...”

I can’t say no NOW since I’m under contract. I guess the best we can do is not try and kill each other since CLEARLY the other fighters are gonna do that for me.”

He’s already got a clipboard out. “Alright. What’s your USUAL routine for training for fights?”

A cheeky smile crept on to the thief’s face. He couldn’t help himself, the joke was there and he HAD to take the opportunity.

He really did think he was funny.

But jokes aside, all he can really do is tolerate each other and try not to get fed up with how Kamoshida is.

{✦} “ I’m gonna be honest with you. The term pseudo-gladiators is bit of an understatement considering that the fighters here can range from literal god slayers to world destroyers.” Sure there were much more normal people here like that one Mayor or those squid kids, but the number of fighters with astounding powers was quite high.

And he was one of them as well.

{✦} “ As for my training routines, besides basic workout such as pulls up and running, I tend to spar with other fighters in the training room or use the living sandbag that we have.”

“Don’t gimmie that.” He’s gonna give him a noogie on the top of his head, not pressing TOO HARD. just hard enough to make his point. “I mean like FOOD and SLEEP SCHEDULE and the like as well. Don’t tell me you’re just eating whatever they give you!”

He writes down what he can. “The point is, I don’t like you and you don’t like me. But my job now is to make you a damn champion! So what’s that sleep schedule like? We might have to ease into a new diet but still...”

Hearing that Asmodeus had missed him made Kamoshida smile, he can’t believe that his own shadow would ACTUALLY miss him! Despite that he was afraid of his former self; he wanted his self-esteem back, to be able to feel as confident as he was back in his younger days.

Instead of taking hold of his shadow’s hand, he moves his arm down and pulls his shadow into a warm embrace.

“I will admit this, we definitely are the same person, just two different versions of one living being who’s done some fucked up shit before they changed. More importantly…” He tightens his hold just slightly on him before he says his next words. 

“I missed you, Asmodeus…” 

“Don’t make it WEIRD, Suguru. Seriously, this is for our benefits, not because we gotta LIKE one another.” He grumbled. “God, serious-URK.” He pulled back, clutching his stomach. “What the hell? Is happening? I don’t like this...! “

He glared at Suguru, as a light burst from his chest. “What the hell have you done to me! You disgusting toad! I’ll kill...!” More and more light. It just enveloped him as he hunched over and... 

Asmodeus was gone. In his place was a stunning muscular... thing? Draped in a gold robe and a large shield, shaped like a medal... how strange. It seemed like it had armor under the flowing robes, but its movements weren’t encumbered at all... 

“Well. This is unexpected, is it not?” Its voice was completely different, completely unlike Kamoshida’s...
