imagine if someone posted a selfie of themself with their 10 year old great dane or something and half the comments were like oh my god you're so brave for standing near that thing if i saw that in real life i would simply have to beat it to death with the nearest object. sorry it's just that once a dog bit me and i have since decided that they all deserve to be systematically annihilated off the face of the planet for being ugly as fuck and having the capacity to harm me, which makes them inherently evil. it's so important that everyone knows this. that's what it's like in any comment section of someone talking about keeping an invertebrate as a pet
