Last year, as part of the Motion Motion, the Motion Battle event took place for the second time and I had the pleasure of designing the graphic environment for it.

First, I'm a member of the organisation team of this festival so the festival itself and the Motion Battle are things that comes from far away. :)

The idea of the Motion Battle actually comes from the first edition of the festival, but it will actually take place at the 2022 edition of the festival. After this first edition of the Motion Battle, the challenge was to create a second edition that was better and bigger for the 2023 edition. We decided that we needed a unique graphic environment for this particular event because the festival environment changes every year and it would be too much work to also adapt the Motion Battle every year. There was also the fact that this year the event was streamed on Twitch, so everything had to be able to be used as elements for layering the stream.

Here is the second work from a series of animation that I did in 2020, this time, for the Motion Motion Festival. The point of this project was to create animations based of the latin alphabet. Each person on this project got one or several letters and numbers to animate. Those animations were also based on original soundtracks from the french music artist called 20syl. The final result was a released of a music album where you find each song that he made and all the animations were post on social media. The animations also live on the Spotify background for each song.

Here is my contribution on the number 2. So glad to be part of this project !
