After doing a tour with us and connecting with massive GEES, we are super excited and privileged to introduce to you our man hitting the skins! Justin Kruger - drums and gees!! All started in 1989 when I saw this oke playing drums behind a monstrosity of a drum set. He was all about the showmanship and catching the attention of the audience. Since then I was hooked. The only access to drums was in church. Strangely enough, this taught me a lot about dynamics in music. After seeing the light and getting a taste of Rock & Roll, I was thrown head first into a realm of showmanship, playing as many shows as I could to just get the taste and the rush of playing in front of people. Music and making music became an obsession. The reason I am doing what I do is to be that oke behind a drum set, that inspires a young person to be creative, to feel what I feel when I play drums. Being creative is part of my anatomy. I want to make music that pushes the boundaries. We are excited to introduce to you the KMOD members! Steven Stephanou – drums & vocals I always felt it in my bones that I needed to play an instrument. Sitting and watching bands play would inspire me to the point that I could tap along to the drum beats. I bought my first drum kit and taught myself to play. Marisa Strachan - graphic novels & podcast drama I come from a musical and artistic family and have been exposed to the industry from childhood. I have done radio work, dubbing, and some TV work. I have also done script writing for a radio serial. Music is a huge part of who I am. I am classically trained in piano and saxophone and have collaborated on various music projects playing bass, guitar, keyboards and singing. Another passion is linguistics and writing. Shayne Minott (Budget Blood Productions) – claymation production & KMOD world building Ever since I was a kid I have loved movies & music and they have been a huge inspiration to what i am doing now! In a way they have shaped who i am now! Everything in life inspires me to create whether it is personal experiences, dreams, The darker side of life and in general just the bullshit that we have to deal with on a day to day basis.... So this is an escape for me! Stop motion involves conceptualization, creating sets, characters, painting, sculpting, photography & video Techniques. Shooting frame by frame creates the illusion of movement. It involves incorporating all these different mediums that you love into one package that flows with a song. Bringing the intangible senses into the tangible! I started off as a photographer & dabbled a bit in stop motion!  I was not even thinking of doing it as career until KMOD asked me to do their first single for their song dreamer! From there things just got better and now i am getting international commissions! Creating keeps my blood flowing. It's a way of expressing myself and working with wands to create something for people to and enjoy and escape into my world! My dad's friend showed me some chords which led to my parents buying my first guitar at age 7. That was the moment when I decided I need to do music. In high school I started to teach myself to play piano by sneaking into the hall where there was a piano. In my mind I see no separation between being human and music. All I want to do is music. I don't want to be a lawyer or a doctor. This is my addiction. I want to be able to touch people on a personal level.
