CONTEXT

I haven't even attempted animation since 2018 but Back In My Day I was one of those kids that did windows movie maker warrior cat AMVs to three days grace songs, so I tried to both keep this one simple enough to finish in one 24 hour period but visually interesting enough to not be like 3 frames long.

the shading is mildly atrocious because my power went out AGAIN last night while I was working on this and I was so mad I was like FUCK IT. WE BALL. HALF THE THINGS IN THE TRASH CAN WILL NOT CAST SHADOWS. WHO CARES ANYMORE

ALSO I was fucking around with vhs filters and lemme tell you the dead lamb with a vcr timestamp/date and interlacing was scarier than ANY analog horror on youtube

S tier- Shamura(The amazingly chill little guy. I could go to them for therapy and feel better cuz I saw them no matter what they say), Leshy (Legit just worm on a string. Idk how to describe its just the energy), Heket(she feels like the chill wine aunt that also smokes weed), Kallamar (I just love him)

SKRUNKLY IS SUCH A GOOD WORD, THANK YOU-- THIS IS SO FUNNY TO ME CAUSE THIS IS SO CLOSE TO BEING MY PERSONAL BISHOP TIER LIST, JUST IN GENERAL REGARDLESS OF HCS. The only difference is that leshy and heket are switched for me, but otherwise it's this same order. I don't dislike any of the bishops by any means, idk if there's a single character I outright dislike in this game (BESIDES MIDAS AND MAYBE SHRUMY) but I for sure have a slight hierarchy going on lmaooo. I appreciate you taking the time to rank my versions of the bishops, I love your analysis and love that narinder got his OWN tier KJDFHKJSD-- I wanna write more but I am so wore out from today that I'm not forming words that make sense???

HOWEVER. The phrase "heket feels like the chill wine aunt that also smokes weed" was for some reason really funny to me and I made this crusty ms paint jpeg image of her live laugh lighting a spliff because that's what weed smoking wine aunts do in my experience

Accidental Vessel Au- pt 2 Narinder

A god not adjusted to the modern time. He’s struggling. A lot.

Narinder was sealed away his siblings like in cannon, however, the lambs managed to hide. A small group was able to flourish and live peacefully in a forgotten corner of the world. The lambs dwindled as time went on, as isolated groups do, leaving just one. That Lamb managed to find the crown and free the god, though it was not intentionally as Narinder had hoped.

They found the crown while sorting through some of the new shipment for the museums cult histories exhibit. They had commented to Ratau about how realistic the red crown was before unknowingly letting it follow them home

Rest well tonight and I wish you luck on your show tomorrow, if you've already done two of them I know you're gonna kill it on the third one!! I can't say I know much about musicals if that's what you're referring to, but I used to do concerts (was a violinist/pianist/harp player in school) and the last show is generally the easiest imo- you've already learned from the last performances what works/doesn't work and you know the end is coming up so it feels less stressful than the previous ones. You can just put your all into it, pass out that night and wake up the next day knowing the hard part is over!

I haven't been able to draw much new art because things keep getting crazier over here but the vacation WAS pretty sweet and I DID start a comic the other day to keep me from losing my shit during the storm. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MUSICALS BUT IF MY UNRELATED, UNFINISHED FANART CAN IN ANY WAY BRING YOU JOY, THAT'S ALL I COULD WANT TBH

I did the lines for this but the power grid went out and they are gone now......which is the funniest possible way I could've lost art progress on a tornado comic tbh

The Lamb started loosing themselves as they ascend, but the thing that keeps them stable just so happens to be a certain cat! Nari knows the mental strain becoming a god entails. He wants to keep the lamb stable, even if he won’t admit it

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?
