Hello friends and Happy New Year ❣️ I just want to say an immense thank you to @woodfordfolkfestival for having the band and I. It was once again uplifting, rejuvenating, life-affirming and beautiful. I am so grateful for the chance to share music on such hallowed ground. Thank you to the band - @bambamgeorge, @cricklecuts, @jaredfranzen, for being with me, for making it fly 🕊 Thank you to all the sound crew who looked after us so well. Thank you to Cara @hatfitzandcara for having us at Bluestown and putting together the very fun Southern Rock n Blues show on New Years Day - it was a delight! Thank you to @sarahinthehowells for having me on her ABC program among esteemed company and to Cate for having me on the @dirtgirlworldofficial NYE party for little people (I got to compare beards with @costasworld - his is truly majestic to behold). Thank you to Nick Lavers for inviting me to play a small part in the fire event band 🎹 everyone involved in that is utterly brilliant and I was so humbled to sit beside them again. Thank you ultimately to all who work to make it happen. The most exceptional collection of humans come together to create this event and it is really a tremendous gift to the world. I'm hardly ready but that's the end of @smallhallsaus Spring Tour 2022! Two shows in Goombungee and Texas then a rainy drive up onto the plateau for @dorrigofolkbluegrassfest which was truly the perfect place to find myself after it all, uplifted by beautiful music ❣️ Thank you to Bridget and everyone at Dorrigo for having us. I'm carrying with me the mud of that special festival and many more unseen layers after a long tour. Everything a little more worn, just as it should be. Thank you to @catherinemusic for being a wonderful touring companion 🙌🏽 to Monique our tour manager and Kevin our production manager for all their hard work and good company. We made it through week three of the @smallhallsaus Spring Tour! Only a couple more shows and then @dorrigofolkbluegrassfest to finish ❣️ At this point the rhythm of checking in and out of accommodation, setting up, packing down becomes a steady backdrop that begins to blur different days and places together. I think my highlight this week was the town of Ravenswood. It was truly surreal and I hope I captured some of that.
