alice is really me at the start of this episode, especially rn. im in an ap european history class and my final test is coming up in a few weeks and ive really gotta start focusing more on it but ive been very distracted...coincidentally also by a video game. although not so much someone calling me on the phone.

this episode is like. very funny to me. because while duchess is annoying in the other episodes, i never disliked her or thought she was particularly bad. she was just a more condescending version of the queen. but this episode is so insane cus shes just straight up terrible. poor mr rabbit :')

its also another great episode for the queen and rabbit's friendship, and i always like the episodes like that. she can be mean to him and he talks bad about her behind her back but i like when the show reinforces that she does actually care about him.

i like all the songs in this episode, the last one especially gets stuck in my head sometimes..

other than that this episode is sort of an eh one for me, i dont dislike it its just forgettable. but i wanted to draw the pants. i didnt realize that they were pretty hard to make out when i committed to that idea, so ..........

Yes I draw a lot of AIW fan art, but not all adaptations, that's because I'm too lazy to draw too much 😸 ....*c queda sin palabras*

okay, most of my drawings are probably Hatter and Hare because of course, silly favs, but- if you show me an adaptation, and I say wow that's interesting, oh yeah, I can definitely draw that (but I can't guarantee that a good drawing will be great on the first try xD, is that ok?)

57. Change of Heart

Another one that I have vague memories of watching back in the 90’s.

This episode has a little bit of everything, which is what I think makes it so great. Queenie gets to be a title bit of a pill and everyone else just has to deal with it. All the songs are great (I’ve even already drawn images for two of them) and so is all the choreography. This is one of those episodes that I would show to someone who isn’t as familiar with the show just so they can get a sense of it.

In the end I decided to draw Alice and Cat, since I already did a Queenie-centered image last week. Plus I wanted Cat to get a Valentine from Alice too. 😌

55. Fiesta Time

Nothing against this episode, but this is one of the skippable ones for me. Like, it’s fine, but I’m not a huge fan of any of the songs or plot beats in this one. The highlight was definitely Queenie getting to get all dressed up. I love her to much. 😭❤️

I get the feeling I might not like this one as much because I get the tiniest cultural appropriation twinge with it. I’m not from a Spanish speaking country, nor do I have any family who are, but I feel like this one might have aged to be slightly poorly?? It's not that I feel like they're being disrespectful or treating it like a joke, but it feels like a huge oversimplification of the culture. Maybe I’m being too sensitive about it, idk. Someone else please tell me.

The part where Caterpillar covers Alice’s ears because he thinks Queenie is cussing in Spanish also gets a giggle out of me every time.

A CHANGE OF HEART. one of my favorites. i love this episode SO MUCH!!!! for one: the songs are all great. the queens music video....taffy tango (the song that invented gay people fr)... i love the dancing in the tweedle's song where theyre climbing on the construction thingy....and then the last ones just catchy. but also!!!!!!! the episode is just sweet!!!!!!!! alice giving the queen a valentine just cus she likes her :((( dont even get me started on the queen not believing her at first :(((((( like its just so....RAAAH..... im crying man.....dont do this to me...,.,.,.,., if you like someone, say it with plyyyywoooood!

53. Vanity Hare

The man, the legend... the Smarty Pants.

Obviously a favorite of mine. ((I even made my own Smarty Pants medal for my Hare costume!!))

All the songs in this episode are amazing. Rabbit's elementary school teacher quiet-time song is one of my favorites of his. And the "Real Harebrain" song with all the dancing around and everything is great. I couldn't help myself from drawing it.

54. The Best Ears of our Lives

I've got to admit, I'm a little disappointed that I didn't draw all of them in their golf uniforms. They all looked fantastic, especially the Tweedles! But I couldn't think of a good picture to draw and I was running out of time, so I went with comedy instead. :D

Cat encouraging Rabbit to scare the bejesus out of the Dormouse tickles me. Dormouse is already so skiddish, so this probably would have sent him straight into cardiac arrest and made the Tea Fathers very upset. How Rabbit didn't think better of this idea, idk. He was that desperate (or gullible) I guess.
