A counter-protester holds up an Israeli flag in front of pro-Palestine protesters. The statement, “kill the Jews,” was used by Northeastern as a part of the reason for clearing out the “Gaza solidarity encampment” in Centennial Common, which resulted in the detainment of over 100 individuals.

It's worth noting that Krav Maga was very famous for a while as the semi official "I'm a tough guy who can kick anyone's ass" position, which is more likely the actual point of the joke on this show than actually being literal support of the zionist occupation in a children's cartoon. ("our tribe has been through some tough times" is NOT a pro-israel statement and basically forms the backbone of antizionist jewish thought.)
anyway, Krav Maga is much more famous now as being one of the highest tiers of bullshido, which if you aren't familiar with the term is non-effective combat forms which survive entirely on marketing and staged competitions and demonstrations. The general public read on it now is less "I'm the self defense badass who can fight off the bullies" and more "this person is a bully and an idiot who likes to brag about both facts"
now I doubt the show's writers are that up on combat sports drama, so it's probably just an allusion to the 20-something year old reputation
oh, thats zionist propaganda in my knuckles the echidna show

Me messaging a guy on a dating app after we've been chatting for a bit:
Btw is that a Magen David in your second picture?
Him, understandably wary: yes.....
Me, realising the implication of just straight up being like "are you a Jew?" and frantically taking a selfie where you can see mine so as to prove I'm not about to be a massive racist: SNAP

"Revolutions are a terrible idea and have an awful historical track record"
as opposed to what, exactly?
Tumblr media
see, if I was making a post explaining with cool rational facts and logic about how revolutionary violence is good and necessary and will only target those responsible for the way things are, I would not include an explicit admission that you plan to purge political rivals in there.

Here’s what you’re not being told: The most pressing threats to our safety as Jewish students do not come from tents on campus. Instead, they come from the Columbia administration inviting police onto campus, certain faculty members, and third-party organizations that dox undergraduates. Frankly, I regret the fact that writing to confirm the safety of Jewish Ivy League students feels justified in the first place. I have not seen many pundits hand-wringing over the safety of my Palestinian colleagues mourning the deaths of family members, or the destruction of Gaza’s cherished universities.

Avadim Hayinu.
you see, they toiled in suffering, and their days were made bitter. And their rulers hardened their hearts against their pleas.
If I recall how this story goes, it ends well for the guy with the hard heart.
