She gets turned right before the war ends and laments being short forever while simultaneously biding her time, watching over her friends' families, waiting for when she'll finally have all the modern amenities from her first life.

But then the twist, Mary Sue has also been turned and blames Tanya (even though she had no involvement or knowledge at all) and the next hundred years are of her trying to kill Tanya while Tanya desperately invests money and time to ensure a peaceful and relaxing immortality...accidentally becoming the shadow puppeteer of the world economy and, eventually, a real life cryptid.

This is the comic that kickstarted my obsession with telling stories with as few panels as I could (usually 10-11 haha), so it’s got a soft spot in my heart.
