darkness in the early seasons was soo delicious, especially when Rob Bowman was responsible for it. I agree with the criticism of the poor lighting in s6-9 but I will take no slander of the Vancouver era's lack of proper light. sometimes less is more, y'know? (a slightly different version of that last art is under the cut)

so uh about this. someone edited that screenshot to put the bi in fbi and I, having not watched that episode in awhile, thought the scene really did look like that. I then opened the screen grab archive for a VHS look reference, only to find out that the colors were edited 😔 I didn't want to post the art without crediting whoever colored the screenshot so I had to redo it. if you're the one who made that edit, please let me know so I could credit you!
