Sometimes I tried to explain things to my toddler/preschooler when he said stuff that was plainly wrong. This tended to devolve into a discussion that got us nowhere. I realized it was pointless, but sometimes I got exasperated and said, “All right, Einstein” as I gave up. After this happened a few times over maybe a couple of years, my son said, “Einstein is a bad word.” 😆 Not my finest bit of parenting.
