No one ever had any expectations in me. Never thought I could get anywhere. Not my family, not my friends. But for some reason I did. Even though I didn’t know where “anywhere” was or how I would find it. Yet here I am. I made a new me, I took a lot of shortcuts, told more than a few fibs. Every time I got caught, I moved on. Each close call was a stepping stone to something better. But this time there is nothing better. This is it. I can’t lose Pan Am.
