Assignment 13
The most useful information I learned this semester is that is something will not work on safari which is my primary way of going onto the internet on my mac, try it using a different program like google chrome. Now whenever something won’t work on safari (which is quite often) I open it in google chrome and it works perfectly. I will definitely continue to use this information after this semester.

Assignment 12
There were a lot of issues with cross compatibility this semester with spreadsheets and presentations. A lot of the templates and slide transformations did not carry to other programs effectively. There was not really a way to fix these errors because there will always be issues with cross compatibility as long as there continues to be different processing operation systems like Libreoffice and Microsoft. However, to avoid these, you could just use google programs and then the person whom you are sending it to can open it and it will look the same to them. When going from Libreoffice to any google program, the templates did not transfer well and everytime I would open a presentation program using another program, the slide transition sounds would be missing.

Minecraft is an international phenomenon and I am unsure why. I found it extremely difficult to work with and it was not what I was expecting at all. I do not like video games or playing them, but a lot of children use Minecraft so I thought that it would not be that hard but jokes on me because it is!

More Homework
If I needed to work on a detailed project which will be shown to a client/ professor/ etc., I would use Microsoft programs because they are the ones which people seem to be most familiar with. It gives me the impression of the most professional programs to use. If I needed to make 100% certain that the file would be readable and look good, I would use google programs. This is because if the person whom I am sending the file to does not have the same version of the program as me, it will come up looking differently on their end. However, since google programs are all using the internet, it will look the same on everybody’s computer.
