Let's talk about how Katsuya interacts with Tatsuya
Before that let's discuss how Katsuya refers to people

Now then, let's analyze how differently he acts towards Tatsuya

How does Tatsuya act around Katsuya?

Note that this is Tatsuya of the Other Side. The Tatsuya of this Side refers to Katsuya as "兄貴 aniki" and has shown a more casual way of referring to him.

Since Izanami’s game stretched back decades, if not centuries, isn’t it possible that before the wide spread adoption of television, the midnight channel was accessed through other mediums like books? Heck I image that the earliest incarnation used oral storytelling as a means.
Yeah, I imagine that before the TV, it was through radio that the future victims were known. You faintly hear their voices saying nonsense in the right frequency during a rainy night, and hear their screams if you fail to save them.
And before that, her players would have known who the victim was through theatre. I once read a really cool headcanon which included traditional japanese theatre for past Persona Users in Inaba to discover who their victims were. Tumblr didn't help in finding the post, but I think it involved a bunraku theater where the puppets mysteriously came to life for a private performance where the victim was revealed. This would have been the method that lasted the longest.
But the first games in the 1500s would have been through painting. Some sort of "cursed ink painting" that, if looked at during a rainy night at midnight, shows the faint image of your one true love. The players would have had to give shape to the face that was slowly being painted on the scroll. Kind of like this:

Can you imagine jumping into a painting to other worlds like in Mario 64? Of course, Izanami would have needed to get creative on how her players got to the TV World/Expanse/Shadow World.
I headcanon that should the Investigation Team had failed at stopping the cycle, the next versions of her game would have been through a mysterious Youtube channel simply called "Midnight" where only shaky footage of the victim would be uploaded. Now that sounds like an urban legend I would have been told as a kid. Up there with the Blank Room Soup video

It would be neat if the PT's masks took that form because they're inspired by what their Shadow would have looked like had it gone berserk

Timeline Update!
For now I only focused on the Pre-Canon events. During the following months I'll probably focus on the other ones. As for what changed:
Added many events related to Inaba's backstory.
Included Dr. Victor's travel to Japan.
Made more precise dates for Carter's lore.
Added "Through the Gates of the Silver Key" as the source of the Carter lore.
Fixed grammar errors.
Summarized some events better.
Fixed Miki Asai's DOB.
Added the event where Kashihara became Junko's homeroom teacher.
Specified when Tatsuzou became Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Added the date the first Satomi Pharmacy opened its doors.
Added Hiroki Sugimoto, Mami "Sheba" Shibata, and Miho "Mee-ho" Ogishima's DOB.
Fixed Kazuya's DOD.
Added the creation of the Anti-Devil State Defense Law.
Reacommodated some of Sudou and Kandori's events.
Fixed the date when Okamura became a teacher.

Persona Theory Iceberg
As for how I separated the levels:
Level 1 - The Physical World
Theories that you can come up with on your own with only a casual play of the mainline Newsona games. That, or they have become so mainstream it would be weirder if you hadn't heard about it.
Level 2 - The Dark Hour
It's there in plain sight if you know where to look. For the more observant fans who only played the mainline Newsona games.
Level 3 - The Velvet Room
A place that exists between mainline and spinoff. Canon and semi-canon. Most people who willingly call themselves Persona fans have heard of these.
Level 4 - The Expanse
A vast space where anything can happen. Oldsona finally comes into the mix.
Level 5 - Kadath Mandala
Only fans who have knowledge of all mainline plus spinoff games and material would know of these theories.
Level 6 - The Sea of Souls
All things are connected through the Sea of Souls, including stuff outside Persona and real-life trivia. Go do extracurricular reading/playing.
Level 7 - The Great Seal
Y'know, some things are best left behind the seal. Don't want to go claiming or implicating something/someone we shouldn't.
#wow. tumblr really said “fuck your quality”. huh#persona 1#persona 2#persona 3#persona 4#persona 5#i have connected the dots#shotout to green pencil case guy#guys i swear the entries were legible 😭 meh too tired to change it. imma go mimimi now

From Daidara's perspective he's the Final Girl in a horror movie giving the characters of the sequel the specific weapon they need to defeat the monster
You know the theory that Master Daidara participated in the last iteration of Izanami's game?
I believe he lost someone during that incident. Since the fog rolls around every 50 years or so, and if we assume P4 takes place in 2011, it would have been 1961 the last time something like the murders happened. Let's say Daidara is in his early 60s when P4 starts. He just gives me that vibe. That would have made him between 10 and 15.
I usually go with 10 to 12. Why? Because that's around Ken's age, and I love things that hurt me. If Daidara lost someone (Big sibling figure? Literal sibling? Older, close friend?) to shadows at such a young age, it would make sense why he fully supports the IT in their fight against "evil", as he tells Yu. He may even have turned into a bit of an extremist. Full scorched earth, kiddos, that's the way to go. And so, Daidara began stockpiling on weapons when the fog would inevitably come back (he's not delusional if he's right, guys!).
In the Animation he makes fireworks instead, so I like to believe game!Daidara also knows how, but it fell to the wayside over the years. The memories tied to firework-making with long-gone friends hit too close to home.
That, or I made an overcomplicated backstory for the NPC that sells you swords.

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT.
So, the Dark Hour. One extra hour exists that only a few are aware of. But just because not everyone experiences it doesn't mean it doesn't happen? Right? Bear with me, I'm going somewhere with this.
SO, during the Dark Hour everyone becomes a coffin (except Persona Users because duh), electronics stop working and water turns red. HOWEVER, inanimate objects stay the same. They can be interacted with and moved to a different place. Time goes on. There's just- an extra hour now, I guess.
Ok? Ok.

Not the most original take- but the adachi-yu parallel falls flat simply because it's outshone by the adachi-yosuke parallel instead. Like-- Adachi is only jammed into the role of being yus dark mirror because he's the protag.
