Finn is a sweetheart really, but can be very chaotic and borderline unhinged at times. Chaos is his enrichment, he'll be fine.

The other rival, Ivy, is his girlfriend and he will do anything to make sure she's happy! The shiny Rayquaza we fight in PokéRogue? They refer to as their daughter, started as a joke and Rayquaza took it seriously.

Inspired by @sm0lcatfish 's Team Disco shenanigans, I wanted to start up a smaller arc which has the end goal of stumping another evil plan after a lot of momentum!

Welcome to Bring Forth The Hell Scream. What is screaming? You'll find out.

The main blogs affected by this are any blogs with prominent League or Trident connection: this means @thetuxedohawlucha and @literal-arc-real are safe during this arc with @office-b-help on thin ice.

Most major warnings will be off screen interactions, so the stakes here will be different, the main thing here will be hacking, brainwashing and implied pokémon abuse.

If you could have one wish, how far would you go to protect it?

What would you wish for? What if your wish came true, but it turned into a  nightmare?

One woman will weigh the odds and take the risk for what she wants more than anything, but she won’t be the only one to get swept away in the thrill and terror of a wish granted.

June 2025 will also feature a community story arc, Wishmade Sky, presenting engagement opportunities on and off Rotomblr and prompts for showing off and developing your characters! Conflicts usually have a catalyst, a domino effect.

It can be over any period of time, igniting that spark and causing things to blow out of proportion at the end of the burning rope.

It's very situation dependent as well.

It could start off with something small, a little mistake that annoys someone?

Maybe one is talking about the other behind their back?

If one is reckless and the other has to be a guardian, they might finally cave?

There's the maturity of the characters as a factor too. If one is more immature, they may start arguments more often as they can't handle it as well as someone more mature can.

You also need to take a solution into consideration if the conflict isn't permanently damaging, a mediator works well if both parties have trust in them.

There's a lot more to conflict than meets the eye.

Wishing upon the stars is multiversal, isn’t it?

This summer I’ll be running a story arc in the Rotomblr community! It will be highly interactive featuring roleplay, art prompts, and blog interactions!

Information and prompts will be posted to this blog, but to give people time to roleplay, write, or draw many of them will be shared early in the Discord server. If you want to participate, or if you just want to chat and follow along, you’re welcome to join us!

The server will act as a general Rotomblr Gliscord server leading up to the event. During the arc, the server will redecorate and gear itself toward the story. After the arc, if people want to stick around it will remain a public Gliscord server, and you can continue to chat and roleplay with new stories in your pocket!

The arc, name to be determined, will be High Stakes and may feature themes of abuse by a parent, manipulation, and mild body horror. Any changes to these content warnings will be declared as they come.

I tend to avoid the fear mongering "this website is going to go under any minute now!!" sentiments by simply not talking about it publicly at all, but if you are stressed about the possibility of Tumblr shutting the lights off randomly, I recommend exporting a backup of your roleplay blogs. It's at the bottom of the setting's page (be careful to avoid the delete blog button!) and can take a couple days to actually initialize. Be patient, as a lot of people are likely doing the same thing right now.

Creating a backup can offer you some peace of mind that if anything does happen, you don't lose potentially months or years of writing. Just keep in mind that once it is done processing you need to come back to this setting and actually obtain the export.
