I crave the hell out of you
I crave the innocent things like holding your hand while we’re walking in the grocery store trying to figure out what we want for dinner that night, or even if we’re driving around for hours because you can’t make up your mind on where you want to go. I’d be so content with life just because I’d be with you. I crave rolling over to your scent lingering on your T-shirt because you have your arms draped around me. I want to know what it’s like to wake up to you. I crave silliest conversations to the deepest conversations with you and 3 a.m. while we’re both sitting in the middle of the kitchen floor in our underwear enjoying each others smile.
That’s the thing…
I crave a life with you. I crave something to give to you that I’ve never really had and I want nothing more than to give this world to you. I can try to give you the world, but that would never be enough because you are the universe. I know that I’m not much and that I might not have that much to give, but I swear that I will love you so much… I will love you like I’ve never had the opportunity to feel it right back. I will give you the love and affection that has been lacked in my time of existence. I’d give you my life if you needed me to… and even whenever my time has run out…
I will still crave you

I finally saw Bangalore Days!
There’s a reason why people are saying Malayalam cinema is making some of the best mainstream Indian cinema currently. The fact that this was the first movie to release on an international level at such a scale, outside of Kerala, complete with English subtitles, hopefully creates an outlet for Malayalam cinema to receive the love it deserves. If you or someone you know has never watched a Malayalam film, this is the perfect film to start with. Everything from the cinematography to the character development is what fulfilled all my expectations. But I already knew I would like it because everything Anjali Menon touches turns to gold. And it happens to have the most brilliant cast ever. The story focuses on three characters: Divya, Arjun, and Kuttan. All three of their characters were given equal amounts of importance, which is rarely seen throughout mainstream Indian cinema, who focus on “one hero.” To see big stars in an industry share equal screen space devoid of ego and competition is something the Malayalam movie industry is very good at (watch Twenty20 if you don’t believe me). I’ll admit, I liked the second half better, but that’s because I’m a sucker for tragic back stories, emotional buildup, and unconventional love stories. And I’ll also admit that my parents PROBABLY wouldn’t have had as much fun as I did while watching this, especially since it caters to a more youth generated culture. The fact that this movie was a whopping 3 hours long made me even happier. I never wanted it to end, especially since it wasn’t too heavy and dragging. Now if you would like to read further… SPOILER(S) ALERT **Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
