This week would have been Japan Fest! 🌸We’ve all been a little bit sad that it had to be canceled for a 2nd year in a row. I know that it’s been really hard on all of the small businesses, artists, makers, performers, and organizations that looked forward to this event every year. Here are a few pictures from past Japan Fests. 🥰My sister would come down every year to help out, and a couple times my niece and nephew even flew down too! It was always tons of fun and never failed to be our best day out of the year. I hope that we can return again someday. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Kawaii NOLA these last 9 years! 💕We don’t have any more events planned for the foreseeable future. It’s hard to believe that spring is here again and that it’s been well over a year since our last event. 🌷 Supporting community and spreading kawaii culture through our events was the essence of our shop, and I miss it so much! Here are a couple pictures from our cherry blossom fest at our original location 5 years ago. 🌸 The first photo shows some of the wonderful and heartfelt sakura wishes you left behind that day. The second one is when all of us tossed flower petals in the air at the end of the event.
