Honestly,I’m surprised that this sort of situation never happened to Danny in the show. I think it would’ve been funny if his stomach actually growled in the middle of a ghost fight.
-David Kaufman said he got a call from someone saying they were considering Tom Holland as Danny and BILLIE EILISH as Sam in a live action remake. I told him I preferred the story being expanded in the recent graphic novels, he didn't exactly agree upright but he implied it.
-In response to me asking if he preferred the darker themes in Danny Phantom like in The Ultimate Enemy he said he wouldn't mind a season 4 of the show with a bit older Danny that explores more mature themes
-He said something along the lines of "If ghosts aren't dead people what are they??" when I brought up Butch Hartman's retcon of that.
-I didn't talk to him about Super Danny TOO much but he said he remembered the Cameo I asked for.
-I asked him to say something in the Danny voice and he made a comment about how Sam would be a bit mad at him for taking a picture with a bunch of girls. (He did not mean it in a creepy way before you get the wrong idea. He was saying that as the character.)
-Overall he was very very sweet and I had a great time!
My HC version of Sidney died of... well it's unclear exactly but starvation and dehydration after being locked away for a week definitely had something to do with it. And now he has chronic hunger pains in the afterlife.
Now for today’s theme, “Season 4″, I thought it’d be interesting to draw out this one idea I always had for a potential Season 4 episode… one involving Valerie coming into contact with the ghost of her own mother. For a ghost hunter who was once so adamant about eliminating all ghost kind… something like this is surely gonna shake up her internal views in more ways than one…
My own version of teen Dan post-A Glitch in Time. I’ve seen plenty of art depicting him wearing dark clothes like some sort of goth boy,so I figured I’d stray from that design in favor of this one. Of course,a few aspects of his original appearance still manifest in his ghost form, such as the black outlines around his eyes. The gray streak in his hair would be the result of Vlad using his own mid-morph DNA to permanently stabilize the clone body he’s now in. I’d like to imagine Dan being somewhat sluggish as he adjusts to his new human body, but after about a week or so, he blossoms. He’d start calling Vlad “Dad” (the first time he does this is due to a slip of the tongue, but he immediately gets over it) and have a strong father-son bond with him. And of course,he’d be friends with Danny,Sam and Tucker. His new name would be Dante Eric Masters.
Jack Fenton: Maddie, you know I can be a fool and you know I can forget things. But the one thing you know more than anything, even more that ghosts exists and that your sister is a bitter old bat, is that I love you baby!
Some drawings of Super Danny, because “Identity Crisis” is one of my favorite Danny Phantom episodes. Seriously,David Kaufman must’ve had a blast voicing the two different versions of Danny in that episode.
Between Danny’s constant sleep deprivation, school stress, and his villains’ differing levels of goofiness, I’m surprised he didn’t try just.. crying, like there’s a reasonable chance they immediately regret making this kid cry
like dude, you get catharsis and your enemies get Guilted into awkwardly going "there there buddy (help??? how to stop crying??? do I just pat the kid's head????)" and giving you gifts
