Adam Davenport character analysis bc i feel like a lot of people get him wrong.

I commonly see the take that Adam's "dumbness" is a facade and like yes but also no. i primarily see adam as a Mabel-like character (from Gravity Falls)-- like her, he's silly and he goofs off because he doesn't want his siblings to take things too seriously. He wants to preserve their childhood. Donald raised ab&c to be heroes but Adam knows that Donald is kinda unreliable so he didn't take that message to heart the same way Bree or Chase did.

Also, Adam kinda clearly has a learning disability &/or other neurodivergence. He has a jealous, petty streak that makes me think the constant teasing about his intellect does get to him, at least a little bit. I think Adam is a character that leans into his silliness bc he knows his family would never take him seriously anyway... he's terrified of actually trying because what if he fails?

Anyway, he is easily confused, easily frightened, and a little "different", but he's also caring, loyal, forgiving, observant, and good at approaching problems from an... unconventional angle. He wants his siblings to take it easy but he's also a D1 ragebaiter lmao so pissing them off is a plus.

Genuinely thinking abt if Marcus had taken up Douglas' offer in the Vanishing. Would he have taken him & Daniel back to the Academy? Imagine if he moved them out to a little cabin somewhere. The new neighbors: a single dad & his two teen kids, except something's... wrong with them. It's implied that Marcus moved around a lot pre-canon, so in a way it's just like it was before, except w the addition of Dani. It's such a good avenue for character growth for all of them, the old Douglas vs the new one, past mistakes vs future hopes. Ugh.

Lab Rats Elite Force Oliver but the arcturion changed his molecular structure to adapt to his powers so he's basically the properties of water ×10

For Example:

he can withstand extreme temperatures because of his ice powers and water's high specific heat capacity

He's able to walk on water because of its high surface tension and the density of ice being less than the density of water

The one funny thing about Daniel is that we get to see him in real time process how fucked the Davenport family tree is. Like yeah, they're actually your siblings because their dad isn't your uncle it's your dad, but your step-cousin is still your step-cousin, and the guy that's torturing you right now is your brother, but not biologically because he's a robot. Also, you're going to have another cousin and this one's related to the step-cousin, but she's also going to be biologically related to you too. Also you have a grandma, but she's allegedly dead.
