It was nerve-wracking stepping out in such a formal dress to walk down the aisle while family and close friends watched. Grey's heart was pounding with so many eyes on her, but when her gaze landed on Sunday, it was as if she had been pulled into a close embrace despite the distance still between them, and suddenly, everyone watching her wasn't a problem anymore.

She made it to her love, the beautiful piano playing softly. She couldn't hold back a giggle when she looked up to see his golden eyes glossy with tears.

“You're crying.”

“You're beautiful.”

They spoke their vows, slipped the rings on each other's fingers, and shared a soft kiss where she sneakily wiped away his tears for him.

For the rest of the day, they stayed by each other's side, shared a slice of cake, and danced together while Robin sang for them.

By the time evening came and everyone was bidding the newlyweds farewell, Grey leaned over with a teasing smile. “The bed is made, y'know.”

She giggled when his cheeks flushed a bright red, and his feathers fluffed to cover his face.
