I could ramble about my AU non stop, I have *opinions*

Long story short, she’s a part of an old unicorn family. Her parents are astronomers/historians and stumbled across a way to ‘bless’ a pregnancy. The practice had fallen out after Celestial and Luna but priest use to use the blessing ritual to create children with the chance to be alicorn. Usually they had a goal while doing the ritual, since only Twilight’s parents know what they had in mind no one (at least those in the know of alicorns) know what she could potentially be. An example is Cadence, her parents were tasked to do the ritual with Celestial for a ‘love’ alicorn.
