They say that no one is ever truly good nor evil. Most people are somewhere in between. The Grey Area. But what if that area in between didn’t exist, what if one side won the battle, for good? What would it be? Evil? Or Good?

My tattoos on my back represent a look into the differences between God’s good graces, and God’s evil ways. The scriptures and eyes stand to symbolize each perspective. I never know which one is winning, the good side, or the evil side…but I carry them both with me, on my skin, in my heart, in my soul.. ♡  ‪#‎GoodAndEvil‬ ‪#‎GoodVsEvil‬ ‪#‎TheGreyArea‬

Showing off my new tattoo. Also huge shoutout to FineLine Designs and my bestie Kai’s partner who also helped in the design of it! The lyrics from Noah Kahan resonated with something within me. And so I had this idea to symbolize my being raised in religion but also being queer and nonbinary, along with Noah’s specific lyrics from his song Stick Season. And I’m incredibly thankful for the inspiration from Noah, as well as for the help from two very talented artists in making the design, and of course for my tattoo artist for executing it perfectly. 💯

Being raised in a southern Christian Baptist family, homophobia among other intolerances and phobias were something that was ingrained in me as a young kid. I won’t go into details cause I’m sure we’ve all been there at some point in some ways. etc. ; But It took a lot of years to even gather the courage to come out to my father and my grandmother and the religious part of my family. But alas, after years and years of loving myself, a little therapy, and a little more understanding and acceptance from my dad, I can say with confidence it’s all been worth it to live authentically and unapologetically - me. 🙏🏻⚧️🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈
