honestly i have so many inspirations its really hard to pin it down to only one "main one". some notable ones that come to mind id say were the works of akihiko yoshida (nier, bravely default) and tetsuya nomura (final fantasy, kingdom hearts)

recently ive been playing final fantasy 16 and the loading screens are so gorgeous that they have also become a real inspiration as well
