KC Nwokoye is a singer-songwriter originally from Nigeria and is currently based in Poland. He has been writing and composing songs from an early age. His music is a perfect mix of sensitive, intimate song writing and rhythmic bliss. Our lives are shaped by so many people that cross our paths, inspire us and leave us with warm memories to cherish a lifetime. Sade has been both, bringing warm and deeply joyful memories to me and my beloved. Sade's records were my dad's favourite and watching my parents slow dance, eyes closed, face smiling to "Your Love is King" and "Sweetest Taboo" will be a memory I will cherish for the rest of my life. Sade's music was at the centre of every birthday party me and my siblings had as kids that always ended up being the adult's night of dancing all while being serenaded by Sade's alluring tunes from "Smooth Operator" to "Jezebel" while we watched from the balcony...well to say the least...fun times they were! As an Artist I have admired Sade's work with intensified renewed appreciation and I celebrate her today for not only bringing so much joy, love and celebration through her gift of music music to my family and me but also helping shape how I compose, interprete and write music.
