Having a Movie Night

@keeperofthewlw I saw that prompt and immediately got to work on this, so here you go! ENJOY!

Some backstory for the story I’m never gonna write:

Linh and Marella are crewmates on Rival Pirate Ships!

I’m not really sure what the roles are on a pirate ship, but Marella is the equivalent of the second in command to (I’m not sure who yet lol).

Linh is a part of a pirate crew that also practices magic n stuff (pirate witches?? o-o). Biana is the captain of that crew (magical teal eyes, anyone?). Linh is also super skilled in sword fighting and can control water.

Marella, being the person she is, somehow manages to get herself and Linh stuck on some deserted island together. Linh isn’t too happy about it, but Marella is like “Wow I’m stuck on an island with a hot girl until further notice” so she’s real flirty and regrets absolutely nothing. 

They end up falling in love while they’re stuck there together <3

Explaining some of the details:

-The one with waves on Linh’s arm represents herself, and the one below it with a shadow in it represents Tam. The tattoos move and the twins use them to communicate (Tam has matching tattoos but reversed). The waves are usually calm in Linh’s tattoo but when she’s angry (like in the drawing) or something they’ll start picking up a little. Tams knows she’s in trouble when the skies in the tattoo start getting stormy. Linh knows when Tam is in trouble when the shadow of a woman (Lady Gisela maybe?) replaces Tam’s shadow in the tattoo.

-The glowing teal band on Linh’s arm is how Biana communicates with her crew mates. It glows teal when she’s trying to summon them. In this case, Biana is trying to find Linh and let her and the crew are looking for her.

- Marella’s weird bird tattoo is her crew’s sign (i guess?). It doesn’t move, but it glows!  The real life bird actually glows, and represents perseverance and hope (kind of like a light in the dark kind of thing).

-Marella’s orange sashy thing was her mother’s, who’s gone missing. Marella’s trying to find her.

Over time on Tumblr, it has become obvious that the KotLC Fandom is lacking in the department of girl-centric and wlw fanworks. This blog is a result of us taking the issue into our own hands and creating a space where anyone can find prompts or inspiration for wlw ships. 

What Do We Do?

The KotLC fandom is heavily weighted towards mlm ships, which is likely a result of under developed female characters and a lack of inspiration when it comes to wlw ships. This blog is an attempt to remedy this issue by offering weekly prompts, character headcanons, and a place where wlw works can be found and reblogged. 

What Can You Do?

This blog is a cooperative endeavor and the help of all who are interested is needed in order for it to be of any use. You can help in ways such as:

Using our prompts! Taking them and making them into whichever work you wish

Spreading the word! Share this blog with your kotlc friends

Adding your own Input! The inbox and submission box will always be open for you all to offer your own prompts or other ideas
