Whenever I hear people say "The sides are just doing their jobs" I always think of like, an Au where they're actually just working in some vague office job together.
Virgil got the chance to switch departments and he took it, and now his old co-workers are really spiteful about it
Remus and Roman got basically the same job through nepotism, but they had to put in different departments because they physically couldn't do shit together
Janus does social media advertising. He does all of those corporate tiktok posts like "Help I accidentally bought a sandwich with my company card, blow up this post so I can call it an advertising purchase."
Patton, Logan and Thomas also work there but I can't think of anything for them.

Hey quick psa, write Patton as the messy person he is. Patton doesn't change easily, he's stuck in his strict outline of good and evil and it took several long episodes and both Janus and Remus being introduced before he started changing. He has a real problem of undermining Virgil with his "dad and son" antics, and has to be firmly told by Virgil that it makes him feel uncomfortable and ignored and even then he still accidentally does it and has to catch himself. He ignores Logans opinions and solutions because he can't face the fact that he messes up and hurts Thomas, which is slowly pushing Logan towards the deep end, and continues to do so over and over even when he's proven wrong. His extreme views on right and wrong are what spilt the twins in two and are still negatively effecting Roman and his self worth.
Yes Pat is the innocent character. Yes he's the dad character. Yes he's silly and naive and kind but he's a disaster. He hurts the others and he's stubborn in his views and he doesn't recognize how much influence he has over the others. Patton is a spectacular character because he's effectively the problem of the group but he's too naive and innocent to recognize that, write him like that you cowards. Write him lying to himself that he's the one in the right and that he knows what he's doing, write him ignoring others because he can't face the hard truths, write him as the accidental antagonist he is.

Of course these two are morons just look at them they share 1 braincells and both are too embarrassed to admit to the other think they lost it. Don’t get me wrong Roman and Remus are both so smart. They are both creative and passionate and I love them. That doesn’t stop them from being the biggest idiots on the planet. So alike yet so in denial about it.
Roman is dumb in a “I’ll jump into this burning building to save you” kind of way
Remus is dumb in a “If I just believe in myself really hard all my issues will go away and I won’t need to go to therapy” kind of way
I can’t with these facial expressions actually peak

Okay but what if the Sides have like "True Forms" like biblical angels. They just take the form of Thomas cause he's the host, but they're actually are like, giant balls of energy with multiple wings and eyes
Biblically accurate Sanders Sides
