what are your current suspicions?

hudson had more of a hand in mkultra, and the entire shitshow that went down with bell, than adler ever did. wouldn’t be surprised if hudson just wanted adler to be the ‘front man’ of the project so he didn’t take the fall if it didn’t work, and perseus wasn’t defeated.

or that the cia could’ve attempted re-brainwashing mason, taken a page out of steiner’s book and sloppily copied his homework. that might’ve been the reason they sent mason out in the field when he obviously wasn’t ready, or why hudson sent mason on that old mission to yamantau with me during the cold war. it could’ve been a sort of test, seeing how affected he still was by his ‘programming’ reznov did to him.

hudson was up to some shady shit. getting into files he knew he didn’t have clearance for, but i wanna know why.

i’ll look into mksearch later, whatever it is. makes me wonder if his little guinea pig experiment that was bell all came out from trying to find out what was wrong with mason. or if he was trying to fix mason, maybe even try to brainwash him cia-style.

mason mentioned something about a hot blond chick. said he thought hudson was trying to keep eyes on him, that weaver might’ve had a hand in it. i thought he was paranoid but, maybe not.

i don’t know why the hell they let mason back into the service if they knew he had probably been compromised. wouldn’t be surprised if hudson wanted to squeeze one last use out of him before manually ‘retiring’ him how the cia does best.

not surprised about reznov. bastard always seemed shady to me, even if mason liked him. ‘Mason’ being reznov’s little lab rat, not my mason. i’m guessing that jackson never got those requested psyche files, i might go poking around to see if I can find anything else here later. if they haven’t been completely destroyed yet.
