Hi :)) For OC asks: 25, 34, 59
Sorry for the late reply!
(OC ask post here!)
25. Do they have fears and phobias, and if they do, do they usually keep it to themselves or talk about it openly?
Oooooh yeah. Aya has one big fear, but she doesn't really talk about it with people. She has to really trust someone to open up about her past.
34. Do they have vices they don't want others to know about?
Mostly drinking. When she's stressed or depressed, Aya tends to drink more than usual. She's good at hiding it, so only the people that know her well will notice.
59. What would they want to be remembered for?
Probably her dance career. Aya doesn't like being known as a "Hero of Baldur's Gate" and does her best not to talk about it.

Now that I’m home running errands
Rolan: a history (of magic or something like that) professor that’s on track to become the next head of the department once the old one retires
Aya: the new head of the dance department, plus she teaches a couple of the advanced classes
They meet when Aya is running across campus because she’s late for her class and she slams into Rolan. Rolan is holding a coffee and he of course spills it onto Aya. After apologies and whatnot, Aya runs off again.
A few days later a woman walks into Rolans office and hands him a coffee. She says she owes him for the other day and that she asked around to find out who he is (btw the description she gave people was “the cute tiefling about this tall with brown hair”). Rolan realizes it’s the woman that ran into her and is doubly surprised to find out she’s not a student but is also a faculty member.
I know I need to work on the next chapter of Enchanted (I have I mostly written out by hand I swear!) but I’ve been thinking about my RolanxAya Modern University AU where they’re both professors and cjdixnskcjd
Maybe later I’ll ramble about it a bit

Sorry for the lack of fic updates and previews and whatnot.
My depression has been really bad lately due to lack of a job and applying to jobs and not hearing anything back. I keep telling myself to sew stuff to sell but then I keep hearing that the economy is shit and no one is buying anything so I tell myself “why bother.”
So anyway…yeah.

I was showing it off in a discord chat and I decided to show it here. I acquired these at various conventions and like to display them in my room.

I was tagged by @sweetlittlelamb for WIP Wed(whenever) so here we are
Tagging: anyone who wants to do this
Background: Lia wants to spar, so Aya lets her use her dance studio when it’s empty.
*****
Lia arced her wooden sword upward, and Rolan jumped back, narrowly avoiding the strike. He quickly shifted into a defensive stance, using his staff to block her next series of blows. Aya watched in fascination as Rolan moved with fluid, almost balletic grace, his staff twirling as he evaded each strike. She briefly wondered if she could recruit him for her ballroom dancing class.
“Wait, stop.” Rolan, his breath coming in heavy gasps, leaned his staff against the wall, pulled off his shirt, and used it to wipe the sweat from his face.
Oh fuck.
Ohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuckohfuck.
Aya’s gaze traveled over Rolan’s now-bare torso, lingering on the muscles of his chest and arms, each one defined by the play of light from the window. His skin glistened with sweat, his body lean and sculpted from years of training. The way his abs flexed as he wiped his face was impossible to ignore, the steady rise and fall of his chest adding to the tension in the air.
She caught herself staring, her heart racing as if she were caught in a trap of her own making. Her cheeks flushed, and she quickly averted her gaze, but not before her eyes lingered too long on the way his low-hanging pants emphasized the curve of his hips. Her mind screamed at her to look away, to act normal, but it was as though her body had forgotten how to obey.
