So I’m late to the party, but Supercorp deserved so much better than that. 😭

The way this episode of cwsg just zapped whatever hope for Supercorp I have left.

I mean, granted, I say that after watching every single episode but this one is just THE one that knocked at my noggins like, "yeah, girl, you need to stop," because yes, I need to stop.

So, I have officially given up on canon Supercorp and won't be expecting shit from the tptb in the finale. They've let me down way too many times in the past.

But you know my biggest fear? Them doing a 180 to pull a Korrasami and be like: "surprise, surprise, it's a slow burn, that's been the plan all along!" and get all the praise for it because they absolutely do not deserve that. I love Korrasami and I understood their limitations. But cwsg didn't have the same restrictions. Supercorp could've been canon, it could've been THE ship, but no, they elected to sideline and friendzone them for years and give us crumbs no one wanted.

It sucks but I've been here with my other wlw ships too so it's nothing new, ig.

Anyway, just my thoughts.

So my het, general audience Supergirl-watching friend just told me: “They’re gonna make Willi*m a superhero himself. I know it! And he and Lena are gonna make superhero babies!” and I was like: 💀

Please, they only shared like a minute of screen time and Willie literally being shoehorned in was so painful to watch because the writers basically were like okay, he’s gonna have a personality, right, and that’s gonna be asshole and baker, you know: ASSHOLE BAKER. Eh, that’s a big YEAH NO for me. 🤮

Anyway, I love my friend with all my heart but was that how hets think ships are born? Man, the way they have everything so easy.

Anyway, happy SUPERCORP DAY!

Don’t you just wake up in a good mood one day and immediately think: “Yeah, Supercorp is definitely endgame.” 🥰

But then you find out what limited episodes they have left are possibly going to be wasted away to prop up side characters absolutely no one cares about: 💀

Y’all, I’m looking for a supercorp fic where Lena had strep throat and Kara kinda moved in at the penthouse to take care of her? If I remember correctly the blurb said it’s not COVID-19 and later on it’s revealed it’s strep or something. Anyone know this fic? I forgot to bm it when I read it last year and I was gonna rec it to a friend today but I can’t remember the title. Anyway, thanks in advance for the help! :))

This show, I swear. I’m only here for Supercorp at this point so if they’re not canon in the end, it’s gonna be so devastating for me. 💀

Do you sometimes get emotional over the fact that Lena’s been able to save Kara’s life with her tech before but now she’ll be able to protect her even more using her magic? Like, idk about you but that’s some soulmate shit right there, mate! 😭

So I’m watching 6x09 and I just wanna ask if anyone knows why Kara was so intent on giving the floor the heat vision treatment in this scene? lmao

Also, the guy on the left totally didn’t care that the floor was basically lava at this point that he was like: “Who gives a fuck that Supergirl’s here? Not me”

You know how Cwsg always fail to connect on their woke storylines? Yes, take that line of Kara saying she understands how Orlando’s feeling because she’s an alien on Earth herself. First of all, no, Kara, you don’t. You’re an alien but you’re not a black man in America. That’s a weird line to put in there. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And it’s times like these I miss Batwoman because that show actually knows how to write these issues into their script.

You know why I don’t trust cwsg tptb with anything? Because it’s the same people in charge of a show that would write in the line “It’s only because you’re on the team that I’m here” but proceed to not have Kara and Lena interact in the 40 or so minutes of airtime left after that.

It’s clear now that when it comes to Supercorp, the tptb is only willing to give us the occasional grand pronouncements to keep us hooked, followed by bits and pieces of affirmations if we’re lucky or nothing at all if they don’t feel like it. Bait, I believe that’s called. It sucks. :(
