'Minecraft' Finally Offers a Girl Character for Free

A lot of girls play Minecraft, but you wouldn't know it from the default character choices. But now things are getting more interesting -it appears that Mojang offers builders the choice of a free girl character, Alex. Although she's been around before in the computer version as a random character the move will allow female players to create their own characters and connect with one another. PlayStation and Xbox gamers will receive Alex on April 29th, while gamers on mobile using the Pocket Edition should see her in the summer.
