Briaronin - Wanderer Pokemon - Grass / Steel

Etymology: Briar + ronin

Dex: Briaronin keep leaf daggers hidden inside its sleeves, using them to strike at their opponent when they least expect it. Trainers must earn its loyalty and prove they are pure of heart, because many Briaronin have been deceived and used for their power alone.

Mercuram - Winged Pokemon - Fire / Fairy

Etymology: Mercury / mercy / cure + ram

Dex: Upon evolution, the heat contained inside Mercuram’s curled horns spews out into flames. It uses the staff it wields to fly through the sky, seeking to aid any Pokémon in need. In ancient times, they were used as messengers.

Acrobask - Aerobatic Pokemon - Water / Dragon

Etymology: Acro / acrobat + basilisk / bask

Dex: The energy it emits from its gills vaporizes the water in the air, creating colorful steam trails as it flies. Groups of wild Acrobask fly in close formations when migrating, reaching speeds up to 700 miles per hour.

Etymology: Shy + tanuki

Dex: Shynuki are very reclusive, they often avoid human interaction at any cost. It is said in ancient myths that rubbing its golden stomach grants good fortune.

Fleecinder - Curled Horn Pokemon - Fire / Fairy Type

Etymology: Fleece + cinder

Dex: Fleecinder’s fur is so impossibly soft and warm, making it popular in colder regions. Fleecinder can leap up to 6 meters high, much to the dismay of shepards who try to keep flocks of them fenced in.

Stumblisk - Rookie Pokemon - Water Type

Etymology: Stumble + basilisk

Dex: Stumblisk tuck in their arms to keep them safe when they crash into things, and out of embarrassment as they fail to run gracefully. It is so incredibly clumsy, as it tries its best to run on water, it sinks immediately from its amateur footwork.
