Heneral Luna's Patriotism
"We all die. The goal isn't to live forever the goal is to create something that will live forever."A quote that describe General Antonio Luna a Filipino General who fought and lead the soldiers during the Filipino-American war. General Luna is not just a General, Antonio Luna is a naïve with a vigorous personality.
The movie Heneral Luna is a historical movie, it portrait what happened in our country during the times that we were occupied by the American. Fighting for what was ours and for the freedom of every Filipino. This movie shows how courageous and fearless the Filipino are.
The flow of the story demonstrate the historical life of every Filipino during American expedition. From the problems of our independence to the solution Heneral Luna made. They really gave an emphasis to the Filipino who fought and willingly sacrificed their lives for the country.
The scene that they kill General Luna was the heartbreaking scene, his death has no justice. The killing of General Luna has been the greatest mistake of his protagonist. I can't imagine that our fellow Filipino is the one who's responsible for his death.
When we connect the movie Heneral Luna in the modern day I would rather choose the situation in our politics why should focus on the needs of every Filipino instead of making yourself satisfy by putting others down. Unity in our own country should be the focus we should not let the past will happen again.we Filipino is one, we protect our country, we value our country, we should love our country "ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan" famous line of Dr. Jose Rizal. Movies like this may develop patriotism in our young generation.
I still remember every scene I witnessed. The spectacular actors fulfill their roles. We even exchanging our personal thought in the film. We suppose to promote movies that are more educational rather than movies that are not even morally upright. From beginning to its end Heneral Luna indeed gives a clear, exciting and engaging historical storytelling.
Heneral Luna captured the heart of every viewers. Words can't describe the satisfaction it gives through personal experience. Heneral Luna had a very bad temper which gained him a lot of enemies but this didn't measure his true identity but instead we meet him more intimately as a leader, and soldiers. This probably one of the greatest movie I've seen and by that this was my favorite line from the movie "mas magandang mamatay sa digmaan Kaya magpasakop sa dayun" this shows how he value our country.
