i looooove seeing artists & writers proud of their work!!!!! i looooove captions & authors notes that say things like “i’m quite happy with this” “i love how this turned out” “i had so much fun making this”!!!!!! i loooooove when the act of creation is joyful & we take pride in what we make!!!!!!!!!!

Make more old characters, and by old I mean 50+ AT LEAST. Learn how to draw wrinkles and not just on the face. Learn how to draw sagged skin. Learn the other ways in which the body ages and study them. Don't be afraid. It's scary at first but I promise it's good for you - not only for your artistic development but also for your perception and appreciation of aging. Also, it's so fun.

may be a hot take but i think the fact minors can access 18+ content by just clicking a button that says 'yes im totally over 18 trust me' is like. totally fine tbh. its a non-issue. i dont care if curious teenagers are looking at porn. they've been doing that for as long as porn has existed. id rather teens explore their sexuality through images on the internet than rush into real life experiences when they're not ready for it yknow. the UK is trying to put stricter age verification in place (which in turn is becoming an online privacy nightmare) and like. for what. who is it helping. why is this a problem.

Do you see it? Your art/writing is about a ship/media that I've never seen, and of which I know absolutely nothing and yet I am compelled and moved by the unique spin you put on it. You did such a fine work that I now want to know the source material. Perhaps you even did such a fine work that the source material doesn't hold a candle to the stuff you make.

does everyone know that fandom is supposed to be fun. you're supposed to have fun when you play with dolls guys.

I truly truly believe that the most important thing you can do in fandom is be a cheerleader. comment on fics. reblog art and rave in the tags. support the people making the things you want to see. this is how you keep a fandom alive. this is how you get more of what you want. you never know: that person could have decided to make more just because you liked it.
