here's some thoughts about the OFDO fitting pics bc im incredibly bored:::::

Dean (Mix) & Jack (Earth)

in the pilot, Jack was dressed more serious and Dean was red flag couture and now it feels like they kinda swapped their styles. Dean is more serious, ready to rule the stage with his tartan tweed jacket, all put together. while Jack is giving like, someone who is exactly who thinks he is... and i think this makes more sense for their characters.

like yes, Dean is a siren but i think when we start the show he will find him at a very confident spot. he doesnt need flashy or revealing fits, he is confident in himself and believes he can get whatever he wants, whether it be the main role of a play or his ex.

and you will NEVER find me complaining about Earth in a baby tee... and i am so glad that they kept his very serious and important director glasses <3

Rome (Aou) & Raffy (Boom)

Rome's pink denim jacket is making me think he will be the loverboy he was promised to be in the pilot lol. and i am not mad about watching Aou simping after Boom again and again and again.

Jojo also called Rome a DJ. in the pilot Rome was a sax player which i thought was a bit random lol but according to my deep research, it was apparently chosen by Ohm as its his own personal interest. but i think Rome being a DJ now might make more sense in the theatre setting, he might be the sound designer for the show.

i like how Raffy's fit is very boyish and modern with his colorful stripes and Adidas Samba LTs. they highlight his immature and desperate attitude, in juxtoposition to Dean's classic and assured look as they will be both fighting for Jack's affections. Leng was twinking it uppp in the pilot, so i am excited to see Boom bring out the sass we all know he has in him.

Arnold (Joss) & Tua (Gawin)

tbh, Arnold's fit tells me that he will be exactly how i want to see Joss: a himbo who just can't read a room. his comfy pieces and fancy muscle shirt is giving exactly "dancer on his off day". i wonder if we might get a dance equivalent of a guitar scene lol.

some people were disappointed w Tua's fit and sending pics of more extravagant, accessorized outfits to the official X account lol. BUT i like how his fit is very put together and intentional, like you know this is a guy who plans his outfits the night before but it's not too loud. because Tua is not loud. he is shy enough to suffer through a crush on his bestie AND he is also a behind the scenes guy at this play. and a lot of famous designers actually dress very subdued!!!!!!!!

personally i am only disappointed by the lack of the colored buzzcut we were promised....

Timmy (Yacht) & Pete (Fluke) & Boston (Neo)

Timmy & Pete didnt exist in the pilot trailer or the director Ninew's secret Letterboxd lists, so they will be surprises for us. if i go by these distressed faces during workshop and those shiny silver jeans, i can confidently say that Timmy will be up to no good this season.

Pete seems the most demure out of everyone. will he be the voice of reason or fall under the OF tide anyway? excited to see what kinda character he will be. he was workshopping w AouBoom 👀 also Fluke looks cute w glasses on!!!

it seems like Boston's sexy sheer shirts and crochet tops are collecting dust on a dark corner of his wardrobe this season but i can see he still got his signature chain on. i wonder whose face it will dangle over this season🤭his style might have gotten a reformation but i don't believe Boston had one. i think he will still be as chaotic as the pattern of his shirt. a girl can hope, at least!

im not even kidding, ep 0 of TNP made me emotional LOL i loved seeing the key members of the crew having their moments, from the art team to the conductor of the orchestra... the labour that went into perfecting each detail, and aof even emphasizing that they didnt use AI!!!!!!!!! like people will have a field day writing long posts about all the visual details and it wont even be nitpicky bc everything was put on that set with an intention...................

i know i always clown DMD shows for being so bright as if they were lit by an army of gaffers OR abusing the air brush effect from adobe premier... but i respect their "go big or go home" attitude. its been a joy to see them aim higher and higher

for a while, my wish has been that these big budget, highly stylized shows like the sign, kinnporsche, TNP etc. would light a fire under gmmtv's ass a lil bit. their quantity over quality is starting to get to me, esp when i watch more visually polished series from smaller companies (or even an independent one like jack & joker!)

bc their plots are getting more diverse and interesting while the production quality is sometimes embarrassingly bad (i am talking about lighting, editing, the biggest enemy of it all: the sound). it feels like wasted potential when i think all the bursting talent (both in and behind the screen) in that company who could flourish with bigger productions!!! e.g. i would KILL to see what kind of show a director like jojo would create with a hefty budget!!!!

do you ever just casually enjoy a BL couple, "oh hey they exist and i like em" type, only see them if someone puts them on your timeline and THEN!!!! one day something clicks and you get obsessed w them for no reason and cant get enough and have to scour the tags for a single drop of content like a thirsty man crawling thru a desert......... because that's happening to me w JimmyOhm

i literally cant stop thinking about Top Form and what must be going down in the in-universe fandom right now. just think of the most messy, crazy fandom in BL and double it and set it on fire and you probably get the JinAkin fandom

i mean i cant even imagine them trying understand their relationship progression from all the inconsistent crumbs::: from the awkward live streams to sexy couple photoshoots to award show speech dedications to the sasaeng footage etc etc. they are rivals one moment and then partners next while still being rivals. those poor fans gotta be going through collective psychosis, trying to get a sense of the whole thing

AHHHH i wish i could witness all the theory threads, solo fans creating discourse, tiktok edits of blink-you-miss-it moments, novel size smut fics, the hashtag projects whewwww..... just imagine the day the news of the matching necklaces hit the towers, the discord groups in disarray, social media managers tripping on their feet rushing to lock the ig comments.... do you think the delulus sent trucks to the Sigma building yet???

one of my Skam remakes pet peeves is when a certain storyline or scene in og is taken out in the remake, people start praising it BECAUSE they thought it was a "bad" thing in the first place.

like i saw someone saying they were glad sram might not do the "eskild seducing vilde" plot because they never liked it and like... it wasnt there for you to like it. it was supposed to be wrong, it was noora going desperate and ridicilous and underassuming vilde and thats why it blew up in her face at the end

if we took out all those scenes of character flaws, what else we would be left with? what even would be the progression of the season? why wouldnt be these teens doing the wrong things and saying the wrong words? what the hell are we watching if all these people were acting all nice and proper??? skam is a teen drama, not an after school special!!!!!!!!!!!!
