     Raising up a brow, Kai almost smirked about her comment of a different side. ❝I’d like to see that.❞ He mused as his fingers laced with hers, proud to hold her hand publicly. ❝Or… you could just stay at my place forever.❞ He shrugged about it casually. He fell in love with this woman before him. She was the goodness in him.

“I don’t know if you do. I can be pretty scary when I want to be.” She grinned. At his words she froze in place and turned to look at him. “Was that you asking me to move in with you?” She tilt her head to the side and bit her lip around a smile.

This is why they made such great friends. Alaska brought Felicity out of her comfort zone in the best way. “Yes. Yes. I guess, if you must phrase it like that. I have been... deflowered.” She brought her hands to her face and let out a laugh before bringing them back down. “Thank you, Alaska. For everything. You’re an amazing friend.”

Sure Jayce could be that kid brother who likes to just tease and annoy his older sister but he actually liked her and wanted happiness for her. Compared to his brother where he might bug him more but his sister he wanted to protect, even if he were younger. “You’re welcome. I’m pretty damn tough too.” He chuckled as he nodded his head with a small smile.

“Of course you are. You’re a Kenner. We’ve gotta be tough.” She grinned. It made her happy knowing he was happy.

“Stooop” Felicity blushed and buried her face in her hands. “I think so. I hope so. I want to. We haven’t really talked about it, though.”

     Laughing he raised up a brow, ❝Like I said, be prepared for complaining and possible distractions that might come your way.❞ He teased with a grin on his lips. It shocked him to hear that she was willing to go to the Grill with him as he pulled her by the waist to him. ❝Real date and then my place. Don’t worry, you won’t need a change of clothes.❞ He whispered the second sentence in her ear before letting go and ready to head out to the Grill.

“Oh, if you try to distract me from book shopping I promise you will see another side of me come out.” She gave him a ‘serious’ look, but still teasing. “Sounds perfect.” She blushed at his whispered words. “I will have to leave at some point and I miiight need new clothes for when that time comes.” She intertwined their fingers, holding his hand, and started off towards the Grill.

“To tease and pick on?” He joked with a laughter, “Kidding, but really I’m glad we get along.” Sure he could fight with his brothers but being younger meant that he was the ‘baby’ and he hated to be seen that way. “Oh I’ll kick anyone’s ass who hurts you. You’re welcome. I love you too.”

“I suppose that is another thing.” she teasingly rolled her eyes with a smile. “I’m glad we get along, too.” It was true. She didn’t know where she’d be without her little brother. She remembered the day he was born and holding him for the first time. She’d been so excited. She laughed softly at his statement. “I appreciate the sentiment.”

“Have you two you know.. had sex yet?” She asked out of curiosity raising her eyebrows. “I mean is he your first if you ‘tied the knot’?” Sex was just a casual thing to her since her ex and she wasn’t about to let them forget that she was well wanted by others. “Yeah his past is horrible but I mean.. he is hot.” She smirked to her. “I’m happy that you two are bringing out the best or worst.. of each other.”

“Oh my god, Alaska.” Felicity laughed at her friend’s forwardness. “Get right to the point why don’t you.” She teased with a grin. “If you must know... yes. Yes we have had sex. And yes he was my first. And yes it was amazing.” She blushed and looked down to her hands for a moment before looking back up to her. “I”m happy too.”

Felicity shrugged. “I think that’s always how it feels when you’re alone. You just see couples everywhere and wonder why you don’t have anyone. It sucks, I know.” She chuckled and shook her head. “I mean, I’d seen him around. We work at the same place just different departments, so like he didn’t literally just show up, but in the form of a relationship he did.” She gave him a smile. “If you want to have fun then I say go for it. Have as much fun as you want.”

Felicity blushed and buried her face in her hands. “I mean, I don’t think we completely changed each other, we’re just bring out other sides of each other. Like his past and his story is a part of who he is and while I may not like it I can’t change that, but the parts of him that I see now? I can help him grow them and be more of that man than the other man. And, yeah, maybe he brings out the bad in me a little bit.”

He had messed up a lot in the past and moving forward he wanted to do better. “Hey I hope the best for you and your future relationship too. You’re awesome and I mean whoever is with you will be one lucky person.” He smiled to her about it as he leaned back unable to stop smiling.

“Of course. What are big sisters for.” She grinned. She tilt her head as she listened to his words. “I appreciate that Jayce. I really do, thank you. I love you so much and It’s great to know you’re always got my back.”
