Markus was talking on the phone, leaving the park and making his way home. His cane tapping on the ground rhythmically, as he was blind, even though he didn’t look like it otherwise. Eyes open and normal.

Due to his phone, he didn’t really hear the fast approaching car as he stepped onto the street to cross it.

“Thanks...I’m happy I was able to help.  I’m Ken, by the way, and i’m with my sister Jack,” he said with a smile.  The girl walked closer and smiled at the guy, even though she knew he couldn’t see it.  “Hi,” she stated, placing her hands in her pockets.  This was not what she’d expected when they decided to go out.

Ken put his arm down and grabbed the items for him, kind of putting the pieces together, whereas his sister just rolled her eyes until she noticed the cane.   “Here you go,” he stated, handing over the items.  “Also, sorry about tackling you, probably should’ve just said something.”   “And who’s the one telling me to think before I act?” Jack teased him.

Jack rolled here eyes at her brother, but was happy that he and the stranger were both ok.  “You’re a real dumbass,” she told him. Ken shrugged to her andnodded at the man.  “Not a problem.  You should probably be more careful, though.  That guy wasn’t going to stop for anything.”  Ken got up and offered a hand to help him up.  Neither had noticed the man was blind.

The twins were walking to the park and as usual, Jack was talking her brothers ear of.  The two stopped across the street and checked for cars…well, more of Ken holding the back of his sister’s shirt to keep her from walking into the street as he looked.  Jack paused her talking, however when Ken let go and ran into the street in front of a car and to tackle at man.  Who was the one constantly telling her to be more careful again?  She ran over after the car passed.  “What the hell, Kenneth?” @emptynarration

Jack pulled her tongue back in her mouth before Ken answered.  “I fell down the stairs,” he stated simply.  The nurse seemed nice, and the two felt comfortable, but that didn’t mean they’d be explaining the whole story.  He smiled back at her a little sheepishly.  The twins were used to standing out, but this was a little different.  While Jack may enjoy the attention, Ken was used to being in the background.  Just a bright detail in the picture that’s the world.  So, seeing as he was the one Briar would mainly be talking too, he was a little nervous.

“I’m not dying.” “No, but your leg is broken.”  Ken rolled his eyes.  “No shit, really?”  His twin did the same back.  “Not my fault you fell down the stairs…”  He shrugged at her, throwing a paper ball at her while they sat in the waiting room.  Jack caught the ball and stuck her tongue out at him before splitting it.  He slapped her arm.  “Not in public.” @briarrosefischbach

Thirteen facts on the twins

1.  Yes, they’re twins, but they’re fraternal.  So they aren’t identical.  

2.  Jackie is Pan, whereas Ken is Ace/Biromantic

3.  They’re both shapeshifters.  

4.  Ken may act quiet, but once you start a good conversation with him, he’s pretty talkative for the most part.  

5.  Ken’s about 5′11, Jack is 5′5

6.  Ken will occasionally gloat about height to his sister due to her doing it in the past.  

7.  They can both be total shits if you mess with the other.  Over protective siblings.  

8.  Ken is older by 6 minutes.

 9.  They share a pet snake named Dee.  He’s a yellow ball python.  

10.  Neither of them can dance, but they can sing fairly well.  

11.  They both hate grapefruit

12.  Ken can drive pretty well, Jack’s to hyperactive to pay attention to the road.

13.  They may act like they hate each other at times, but honestly, they would hate themselves if something were to happened to the other.
