Happy 3 Year Anniversary, ROTTMNT Movie! You were what really got me into this fandom and I'll forever be grateful for it!

In retrospect it kind of makes sense why I would fall so hard for the movie's opening. Leonardo and Mikey were my favorite growing up and I've always been a sucker for a good post apocalyptic, father/son bond, self-sacrificial, time travel story (thanks DBZ). I ended up eating through Season 1 in about a week and then had no means of watching Season 2. Ironically I started Replica when I was stuck in this weird floaty space between seeing all of Season 1, but none of Season 2 or the actual movie.

Even then it was not actually the show that triggered my passion, but rather all the amazing fan work I was exposed to after watching season one. My Pinterest and Twitter feed quickly filled up with turtle fanart and before I knew it I had become hyper fixated on something new for the first time in 7 years. It shocks me that I'm still so invested, but I think it's just because all the people I've met in this wonderful community have continued to inspire me though it all! You all rock!
