M-U-S-I-C
Ahhh, music - something I can't live without. Over the past years, music has become a big part of my life. It has been my best friend since - who knows when? It has a big impact on me and helped me in a lot of ways. As I have said, music is my best friend. It is my company whenever I feel happy, sad, excited, in love, or anything! You name it! You would never see me riding a public vehicle without my earphones on. Even when taking a bath, I would place my phone on the sink and play a song. It serves as my timer - that only a maximum of 3 songs should play when I take a bath or else I will be late. But oh well, I sometimes get carried away when I sing as if it was a concert of mine. I just can't help it! Lastly, whenever I study. I can't focus on reviewing when it just plain silence. I need to hear some rhythm and beat to be able to study. But of course, I do pick the songs that I listen to. I do not listen to all types, but I do listen to many different ones. I dislike heavy metal. I just don't get the point of it. I love OPM the most! You would see my playlist full of songs from filipino bands like Silent Sanctuary, Kamikazee, Callalily, Eraserheads, Spongecola, and many more! I like it since all genres are sung by them. I do like pop music also. The ones that are a hit these days. I here them everywhere, that's why it gets stuck in my head aka LSS or Last Song Syndrome! Music all in all is just wonderful. Just imagine a world without it. Boring isn't it? I bet you'd agree with me.

Ball is life
Alam niyo na siguro kung tungkol saan to? Haha.

Hahaha

OH FOOD!!

When food is life… I bet you’d agree with me, don’t you? Food is a very big part of my daily life (or I mean everyone’s daily life) and yes, it does give me great things - not only to my health, but in every aspect, I guess? Let’s start off with food being my stress reliever. Whenever I feel stressed, food is the first thing I run to. I can not do school-related things at home if there is no food beside me. I do not become productive if I am not chewing food. I don’t know the reason why. But well, scientifically, food does give you energy. So I guess, that’s why. Next is becoming adventurous. I do not limit myself in just eating Chicken Joy at Jollibee because it is known for its famous fried chicken. I am more to that. I really do enjoy trying new food. With that being said, I get to reach different places just to try this-and-that food. I do travel to far places for it. That’s how adventurous I get when it comes to food. Lastly, food is just so satisfying! I enjoy all types of food - bitter, sweet, sour, spicy, you name them! I am not a picky-eater anyway. And what makes it great is no matter how plenty I eat, I do not get fat 😂 haha Food truly is life. But food would not be life without her. Eating with her is what makes it complete.

My Food Buddy <3 She is the reason why I know a lot of good places to eat because she also likes to eat lots of food. We like to try different foods wherever we go. Eating in different fast food, restaurant and even street foods are the things that make both of us happy.

HI!!!!!
I was born on the 31st of May, year 2000 in Quezon City. I am the only child of my parents, the “unico hijo” as everyone calls it.
Oh, and by the way, I am Kent Patrick Conti Lumbes – and this is my story.
I studied nursery to preparatory in Rosario Christian Learning Center in Rosario, Pasig. The only thing I can recall during that time was that I always lead my classmates to form a line when we were to move to another classroom and break time as well. I was a “bibo kid” at that time, as what my friends call me when I shared to them my childhood experience.
We lived in Pasig City and took my middle school at Pasig Christian Academy, however, after the first 8 months of my 1st grade, we then transferred to Paranaque City in December of 2005, up to this day. At a young age, I travelled my way to school for 2 hours a day. At first, it was very hard since I was still adjusting, but then I got used it.
Up until 5th grade, I was accompanied by my mother or sometimes my uncle (whenever he was free, he would fetch me). I started commuting my way to school when I turned Grade 6. At this point in my life, I have met a lot of people. I have met a lot of new friends and made memories together. Also, I was a basketball and volleyball varsity player of our school wherein we competed with different schools at the Pasig City Association of Private School Administrators (PAPRISA) Palaro. It was fun competing with the other schools especially when I got to do the things I love most – and because we were exempted in our exams every time we had a game.
Unfortunately, we weren’t able to win any place in our basketball team because my team mates weren’t allowed to play in the said competition because they had problems with their grades – which disqualified us in the game. Meanwhile, we won third place in volleyball. Everyone was happy even if we weren’t able to get the championship. It was one of the best memories I had during my elementary days.
After I graduated elementary, my mother wanted me to study in Paranaque so that it would not be hard for me to commute every day. At first, I did not like her idea because it would be a lot harder for me to adjust again to a new environment. I was already used to my previous school and I didn’t want to leave my friends and classmates behind. But then, my mom wanted me to take the entrance examination at Great Christian Academy (a school which was near our home), and luckily passed the test.
As everyone says, high school life is the most exciting part of your life – and indeed it was. I experienced a lot of different things. I met friends – who now feel like strangers to me. You’ll get to a point where you’ll feel very loved yet you’ll lose it. The best part I had during my high school days were experiencing going home late and being scolded by your mom, having low grades and being scolded by your mom again, sleeping at a friend’s house, getting scolded by a teacher, and many more. Despite those things, I learned many things. I made a lot of memories with my friends and will surely treasure it.
I’m currently a grade 12 student, taking up Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics at Polytechnic University of the Philippines. I still don’t know why I’m here but one thing’s for sure – I will finish my study whatever happens. I am planning to take up Engineering in college, and I know that it is not easy but I will strive hard and do my best and make sure to get that “Engineer” in my name.
And that is a summary of how my life was for the past 17 years.
