“You’re lucky it worked out that way. I mean, how many guys are into fashion and racing? He sounds like a keeper best friend,” Megan said with a nod. But hearing Kendall say that made Megan wonder if that was the reason she didn’t have very many friends – her hobbies really only included playing video games, sleeping and eating pizza. She really didn’t do much these days. If she went out, it was only for an hour or two because she was so tired all of the time. Was this what motherhood would be like for the rest of her life? That was another reason this outing was such a big deal to Megan. Without Kendall, she’d probably never do anything like this because her few other friends she had were very laid-back, much like her, and they usually wound up hanging out at Megan’s place, watching movies. Which was just fine with her, but lately, Megan found herself needing to do something a little daring. “Yeah, no, he probably didn’t tell his team he’s going to let you borrow the car, let alone drive it…” Megan added with a laugh, shaking her head at the thought. There was no way anyone who was actually part of a racing team would admit that to the rest of the team. It just seemed a little too risky. “Still, he’s awesome in my book already for letting you do this.” Once they got to the track, Megan took the wrapper from her muffin and her now empty coffee cup with her so she could throw them out as soon as they came across a trash can. She didn’t want to leave any trash in Kendall’s car, especially since it looked so clean. Nothing like her car – there were crumbs everywhere from the kids eating in the car and toys all over the place, much like Megan’s apartment.

“Speaking of Scott, how is that charming son of a bitch?” Megan asked with a brow raised. Of course, she was going to ask Kendall about Scott. It was funny to Megan because she remembered the story Kendall told her a few months ago – something about some text that wasn’t meant for her eyes that Scott had sent her. Upon their arrival, they were shown around for a little bit and Megan was introduced to some of the guys before they were led to a place where they could change into racing suits. “Damn, this is hard core. We even get racing suits? I feel like we’re in Charlie’s Angels,” the brunette mused, zipping up her racing suit before stepping out. “Yup. I’m ready. How do I look?” She turned around, glancing downward, “I like the way this racing suit makes my ass look.” She was only joking of course and laughed at how ridiculous she must have sounded. “Yes, I was born ready, lady. Lead the way.” Megan tucked her helmet under one of her arms and followed Kendall out to the track. Kendall’s friend was already out there and asked htem if they wanted to go around the track separately with him driving just to get warmed up. “Yeah, that’s probably a good idea. I mean, unless you’re ready to just let us behind the wheel…”

“You sound like my mother, though she has ulterior motives, she really thinks he's good PR and publicity, I'm worried she’d eventually ruin any sort of friendship I have with someone who minds the public eye!” Kendall admitted honestly and tried to grin though the grin was much more forced than anything. “He's a real keeper, great person actually and he's a friend of the family which is always a plus, nobody who doesnt tolerate the family would ever manage to stay friends with me, I mean my family can be a lot, if you get a e-mail from my mother tomorrow because she was pictures that we hung out and she has ideas how we could promote that friendship some more, please be sure it wasnt my idea!” Kendall admitted and what sounded like a joke was something she very much meant. There were so many rumors about kendall that she was still certain her mother had lit and it was partially the reason why she was trying to distance herself from the Kardashian Clan although she knew it was hurting her just as much as it was probably hurting her sister, minus Kim. “Scott? For all I know he's good lately, I am not caught up on everything but we are talking on occasion and he seems good. Actually he's always been someone I loved having around, as long as he wasnt being a shithead and hurting Kourt!” Kendall and Scott had always gotten along exceptionally well, sharing similar views on several things and maybe being the most withdrawn from all the family drama. Scott mostly just caused drama on his own without the family. 

The racing suits were a bit much, especially since Kendall was still skeptical if they would actually be allowed into the Formula 1 car, despite it not being the season for it the whole thing was worth millions and while Lewis was the kind of driver who could easily piss off his team simply because he was too successful to be let go, she wasnt sure if he was feeling up for the risk of doing something like that. Even if it wouldnt be his actual race car Kendall had already spotted some pretty rad racing cars, probably from other leagues of racing that had looked very promising. “You're ass looks phenomenal actually and have I mentioned that Lewis is hot? And likes brunette? You totally are his type, please tell me I am allowed to hook you guys up?” Kendall asked excitedly as she zipped her own suit up and walked out of the room with Megan to check if Lewis was anywhere and much to her surprise he actually was and had made the time to be there. it most moments like that Kendalls age was showing and the normally calm brunette was basically jumping towards the driver laughing as she wrapped her arms around him to say hi before she turned to Megan grinning. “Megan meet Lew, Lewis meet Megan, I already told her that you're great, please dont mess it up!” She warned the driver laughing and nodded when he suggested going separately. “You want to go first?” Kendall asked Megan grinning, for some reason she was more and more enjoying the idea of hooking her two friends up, a spontaneous and probably ridiculous idea. Stealing the cap off of her friends head she put it on her hair and put the helmet down again. “Actually I'm just going to decided that you go first!”

“I am serious, nothing exciting happened in my life lately, I swear, I’d tell you if there was something!” Kendall defended herself jokingly, knowing what Megan meant. People had that weird thought of her being constantly around fun things and doing special things, but really, either Kendall didnt take it as something as special because it was normal to her or nothing really happened in her life. Kendall was really happy that Megan was just as excited as she was, it would have been so dull to spend the day with someone who was only interested in meeting a driver or something and not actually into racing. Kendall really felt like she and Megan would have a great time today and she was happy to spend some time with the actress again. “I met him a while ago, he's very into fashion and our paths crossed several times, he also knows my family and we just really got along very well. It still did take a bit of convincing with the whole racing thing though, he allowed me to sit in his car a couple of times before, but he was watching like a hawk that I wouldnt harm it. During the season he's so determined to be the best and that clearly involved me not harming his car, not that I am planning on doing this today. I have no idea if he actually told his team that he’s letting me ‘borrow’ the car today, I have no idea if thats even allowed!” Kendall mused while they were still driving the question somewhat legit and she pulled out her phone carefully to check if she had a call or text from Lewis letting her know the exact details of the day ahead of them. 

“My sister Kourtney was at the tracks with her boyfriend a lot, Scott loves fast car and raised for a very short time but he didnt really have the discipline to keep it up!” Kendall told Megan though she had a feeling Megan already knew. Scotts escapades were well known and captured on several episodes of the show as well as on the covers of plenty gossip magazines. Arriving at the tracks Kendall parked her car and shut it off, grabbing her things to take them with her while she dialed Lewis number to make sure it was alright for them to just get in. As it turned out the driver had informed a bunch of people that friends of his were coming in they were already welcomed in front of the tracks and gotten shown around the place for a while before they were actually brought to a little changing room with racing suits and helmets “Well, this is getting really real now, are you ready?” Kendall asked laughing as the dressing room door closed and the two of them were alone.

Yes a formula 1 car, for real. I cant really believe it either!

A Formula 1 car?! Like… for real?! That sounds like so much fun, actually.

“No, not at all, the drive was surprisingly easy and quick, its been totally fine!” Kendall told Megan laughing as she hugged her tightly and returned the kisses, excited to see the actress again who she really had enjoyed spending time together a lot last time they saw each other. Megan looked fantastic, especially considering that she only had a baby, looking at her sisters Kendall knew how hard it was to loose baby weight again and it was always astonishing for her to see how easy it seemed for Megan. “Yes, I did, told you it was an easy drive here, easy enough for me to stop and get coffee before I got to your place!” The brunette told Megan smiling softly while she unlocked the car and got into the drivers seat, checking her phone real quick before she bluetooth attached it to her Range Rover again. Her car was her pride and joy and different to Kylie she actually was a very decent driver, which probably was why she was allowed to get to Silverstone and to get onto the race tracks. “I am good, nothing exciting happened actually, thats very much my life, but what about you? How is your baby? How old is it by now? How awful that I dont even remember if it was a boy or a girl?” She took a sip of her coffee before she parked out of the parking spot in front of Megans place and onto the road and following the directions her  navigation gave her. “I sat in one a couple of times when I was at Grand Prix to support Lewis, but during the season he’d never let me drive a round in it but its  not season now and he's a good friend, so yes, we might actually get to drive an actual race car, if not maybe at least a test thing or something, but I’ll give him a call again once we are closer, maybe he’ll actually allow us to drive his car, though it will be a challenge, he gave me the hardest time when I wanted to wear his gold champion chain when I was watching the grand prix in Monaco but he’s the kind who eventually gives in!” 

Kendall wasnt one to brag about the people she knew, which was why she’d not exactly mention the last name of whoever she was talking about, mostly because it didnt even matter to her that who he was or who he wasnt. “So you said your ex got you into racing? Did he do it professionally?” Kendall knew that lot of men raced on their days off like Scott, her sisters on and off boyfriend and his friends and of course her dad who loved racing or generally any kind of sport that was giving you an adrenaline rush. The brunette carefully took her coffee cup up again while she maneuvered the car through the streets of London and blew off some of the steam before she ultimately took a sip of it before she placed the coffee cup between her legs carefully, not into the idea of tossing the liquor all over her legs. “Are you excited to go to the track?”

Racing // Megan and Kendall

Being part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan certainly had lots of advantages, the many people the family knew and was acquainted with often were helpful in all different kinds of situation and while Kendall had been so focused on the negative aspects of being associated as much with her family it really was time for her to acknowledge the positive factor, although she id hope most of those ‘positive’ people she knew because of her family would be friends with her even without her famous last name, or the one of her family. When she’d been texting a friend of hers the other day and it was mentioned in their text that she was in London, the offer of taking the trip to Silverstone to actually be able to get into a race car came quickly, Kendall had mentioned several times to the friend in question that she was obsessed with the sport and that it was something she had probably learnt to love from her dad. It was times like that when it was a positive factor when the friend one was texting with wasnt just someone, but Lewis Hamilton and who better to actually give one permission to get to Silverstone and on the track. Normally Kendall would have simply taken her sister Kylie, but with Kylie having left London quite suddenly Kendall really wanted to look for someone to come with her and instead of asking the usual suspects she suddenly found herself talking to Megan Fox who turned out to be very happy and interested in joining her. Kendall had met megan on several occasions before, once in the pouring rain on the streets of London, Megan had been pregnant at the time if Kendall remembered correctly and she really was excited to see the actress and chat about everything that probably had happened in her life since their run in. 

Texting Megan that she’d pick her up Kendall left her apartment trying to keep it very low-key, wearing trainers, a pair of high waisted skinny jeans and a warm cropped pullover to keep her warm. Thankfully it was still early in the day and barely any paparazzi were swarming her place and the drive to Megans turned out to be a very easy one and much quicker than Kendall had expected which left her some space in time to buy both of them a muffin and some coffee, taking two black coffees and some extra milk, not sure how Megan liked it. Parking in front of Megans car Kendall already set Navigations to their destination, relieved to see that the drive would actually only take them about and hour and a half if they were lucky, before she jumped out of her black SUV and walked towards megans door, ringing the doorbell and waiting in front of it, checking her phone and missed texts in the process.

Yes, I am really happy that opportunity opened up. My dad always loves to be adventurous and he absolutely taught me and my sisters to love fast and exciting things. If you want to come that’d be super fun I am sure

Well, your friends are more useful than mine, that’s for sure. That sounds like so much fun. I have always wondered what it would be like to drive that fast. You should definitely not turn down that opportunity. And, you know, if you can’t find anyone else to go…

Keeping Up with the Kardashians: A Very Merry Christmas

Okay, my dad would make it his mission to learn you to love driving and I sort of am making this my own challenge now I think. Lewis is a good friend and we’ve known each other for a long time now, he knows I love fast cars so this was made possible. 

Yeah but it’s still embarassing. I tried go-karting once, it was a mess. I heard the employees making fun of me in the bathroom. Well shit, you got important friends in important places, wow!

But theres nobody there on that street, well on the racetrack, so you can basically drive however you want. I am not good at selling this, am I? He doesnt have superpower, a bit of access because he is racing professionally, but no superpower. 

I am sadly going to pass up on this one, ‘cause I drive like a grandma who forgot her glasses at home, so it wouldn’t be enjoyable for anyone. But I gotta ask… who the hell is your friend to have such power?

I have no idea if anyone is game for this, but i have just gotten off of the phone with a friend of mine who said he could get me to silverstone to actually drive on the race track with an actual Formula 1 car and I could bring whoever I want. So is anyone actually game for this?

kendall is such a cutie and who better to play her than a cutie herself?? i think you're a great person. you seem to have a big heart and your head on straight and i wish i could write with you more, honestly. it's almost thanksgiving in america so i wanted to remind you that i am thankful that you joined this group and you are the person that you are. i hope you don't forget that anytime soon.

“Yes, family drama is the one thing but having a camera in her face during it is a lot. I am sure you've heard about my dad? The last two years have been a very intense phase in my family and there have been lots of things that went wrong, I think we have all said things on Tv we arent proud of, I called my sister, especially Kylie names I am not too proud of and its always hard to not have been around as much as everyone else! But really, the real deal isn't even on camera!” Kendall really didnt know why she was opening up that much to Katie, maybe because she had not really spoken to anyone, especially not to someone grown up or someone who wasnt friends with Kim or her mother and she really needed to talk about some of the things that have happened in the past few months, even if she wasnt saying much, it did feel good that she could speak to someone. Kendall hands were clutching to her hot coffee cup while she talked, warming herself and also to comfort herself. The brunette obviously knew about Katie and her ex-husband, everyone probably knew the story, similar to Kim and Kanye they were the  kind of couple everyone knew and had heard of and a least for a while the couple everyone strived to know and to be. it was probably the only part of Kendalls life she so far had managed to keep relatively private, her love life, mostly because there wasnt too much to find out about it. She was so focused on her career that she really had never had a large focus on boys and whenever she had met someone the person usually really was scared off either by her family or the paparazzi. 

“What kind of Muffin did you get?” Kendall asked Suri when the little brunette came back to the table with the muffin she had just bought. The second youngest Kardashian loved kids, she had always loved being around children, especially her own nieces and nephews and Suri was no exception to her rules and Suri was really lovable and so sweet and polite. Taking a sip of her coffee Kendall took another look through her bag to finally find a card with her agency information where Katie would easily be able to reach her. Kendall really never gave out her own number and since her mother no longer was managing her it was the best way to contact Kendall. If she would give every potential new person who would meet with her for a job her number she would clearly be flooded with calls and text which she didnt have the time to manage. There were only very few examples to the rule like Olivier, but he was more of a friend by now than the creative director of Balmain. Having found the card in the midst of all her things she handed it to Katie “Just call my agency and they will reach me, thats the easiest way, I dont have a manager right now so that complicated things a little and I do hope thats not a problem for you!”

“I would love to work with Bella and G, its rare that we all get together but its always great fun if it works out and we all get to work on the same project and if you want all of us in your show I am sure none of us would ever say no, its a wonderful project!” Kendall had learnt early on how important it was to always be polite, despite what people thought, there were no star allures with Kendall, she really was as down to earth as she could possibly be with a family like hers. She had to work very hard to fight against the thoughts everybody had about her and especially in the modeling industry, loads of designers at the beginning weren't best please to work with Kendall and had denied working with her until the first designers had accepted her and finally she was everywhere and thanked her lucky stars for being accepted  in the industry. “Yes, of course, should I give you my information so you can reach me whenever you have things figured out and settled? I mean if theres a casting I’ll obviously have my agency send me in, I am sure it will all go well!” Kendall reassured the designer while she crammed for her own card with her agencys information, she ha considered giving Katie her setcard but that would be a little much, the woman hardly wanted her measurements right now, that was the kind of thing they could get settled on later in their first meeting when they’d talk about the shows further details. The three of them quickly got into the café still Kendall heard the sound of several cameras clicking and she was very sure that it wasnt passer-by’s but paparazzi who seemed to be constantly at Kendalls feet anyway. 

Ordering herself a skinny latte Kendall again thanked Katie for the coffee as they got down at a table. Suri was an adorable and really well behaved little girl and Kendall couldnt help but be reminded of her nieces and nephews who she missed dearly. “She's so sweet!” She told Katie when her daughter went to get herself a muffin. The subject of the show got Kendall to cringe slightly, ever since she had started a law-suit to get herself out of her contract with keeping up it was much more of a nightmare than anything else and she was just happy nobody had caught wind of her family drama yet or else the press would go insane. “Yes, the show really was - is all about showing our true family life, there are ugly moments as well as very happy ones shown and I think we are all very true to ourself on screen and off screen mostly because on screen is the same as off screen. I grew up with the cameras so there was really no way but be myself. I am glad you enjoy it though, I am sure its amusing to watch when its not your own family!”
